Thomas★Zero
New Shark cards which can effectivly work with Lantern and Buzzsaw Shark for a WATER/Number Shark Xyz Deck. Abyss Shark lv 5 WATER Fish/Effect If all monsters you control are WATER monsters (min. 1), you can: You cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except WATER monsters, also the next battle damage your opponent takes this turn from a battle involving your “Number” monster and another monster is doubled, also Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, add 1 Level 3, 4, or 5 Fish monster from your Deck to your hand, except “Abyss Shark”. You can only use this effect of "Abyss Shark" once per turn. If this card is used for the Xyz Summon of a “Number” monster, it can be treated as a Level 3 or 4 monster. ATK/1200 DEF/700 Crystal Shark lv 5 WATER Fish/Effect If this card is in your hand or GY: You can target 1 WATER monster on the field; you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Xyz Monsters, also Special Summon this card (but banish it when it leaves the field), and if you do, that target’s current ATK becomes halved. You can only use this effect of "Crystal Shark" once per turn. If this card is used for the Xyz Summon of a “Number” monster, it can be treated as a Level 3 or 4 monster. ATK/1100 DEF/800 Barian's Chaos Draw Spell Card To activate this card, you must draw it for your normal draw in your Draw Phase, reveal it, and keep it revealed until the Main Phase 1. During your Main Phase 1 that same turn: You can activate 1 of these effects. ● Send 1 “Rank-Up-Magic – The Seventh One” or 1 “Seven Emperors” Normal Spell from your Deck to the GY; this effect becomes that Spell’s effect when that card is activated. ● Special Summon up to 2 monsters from your Deck (but their effects are negated), and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, Xyz Summon 1 “Number” Xyz Monster using all the Summoned monsters. Ascension of the Seven Emperors Spell Card Take 1 “Rank-Up-Magic – The Seventh One”, 1 “Seven Emperors” Spell/Trap other than “Ascension of the Seven Emperors”, 1 “Barian’s” Spell/Trap, or 1 “Rank-Up-Magic” Quick-Play Spell from your Deck, and either add it to your hand or place it on the top of the Deck. If your opponent controls a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: You can banish this card from your GY and send 1 “Rank-Up-Magic” Spell from your hand to the GY; this effect becomes that Spell’s effect when that card is activated. You can only activate each effect of "Ascension of the Seven Emperors" once per turn. Eternity of the Seven Emperors Continuous Trap Card You can target 1 Xyz Monster you control that is a “Number” monster with a number between “101” and “107” in its name or has such a monster as material, then activate 1 of these effects; ● Negate the effects of 1 face-up monster your opponent controls with equal or lower ATK until the end of this turn. ● Detach all material from that target, then you can Special Summon 1 “Number” Xyz Monster from your GY. You can only activate 1 "Eternity of the Seven Emperors" per turn.
Ultimagamer
Abyss and Crystal are some of the most solid fish support I've ever seen. Even just by themselves Abyss makes the new Nash rank 5 by searching Crystal Never been a fan of the "You must draw this for turn to use this" cards. I wish they'd make some kind of Malefic Territory card that could cheese them out
The Highlander
The first 2 card sare amazing and the later cards are all good enough to be worth existing. Especially Abyss Shark and Crystal Shark are exactly what Shark decks are missing, which is extending further and lacking enough solid maindeck monsters (which is funnily enough also the issue Marincess struggles with, until this Pack gets released). Abyss Shark is amazing, searching Buzzsaw Shark/Crystal Shark/Xyz Remora, which are the best extenders/playstarters Sharks have, on top of not being Normal Summon reliant itself and being an extender. Crystal Shark is amazing, being a solid target for Abyss Shark and Lifeless Leaffish. Furthermore with the above Abyss Shark and Crystal Shark Right-chiral Right-Hand Shark is also a lot better, given that Buzzsaw Shark + Abyss Shark allows to summon Bahamut Shark + Nafil Asylum Heth Knight, while setting up 2 free level 4 Xyz materials in Crystal Shark and Right Hand(ed) Shark for the next turn. Not to mention that with Xyz Remora the battle protection of Right-Hand Shark can be added to multiple Xyzs (like Number 4: Stealth Kragen). Also these make Nafil Asylum Heth Knight worth it. Ascension of the Seven Emperors is interesting. If the opponent control a monster from the Extra Deck this card is basically the anime version of Rank-Up-Magic The Seventh One, also the reference to “Seven Emperors” Spell/Trap other than “Ascension of the Seven Emperors” might imply a future release of another "Seven Emperors" Spell card, also it can search Eternity of the Seven Emperors to get a searchable once-per-turn monster negation. Barian's Chaos Draw is a weird reference to the game between Yuma + Nash against Don Thousand, in which Yuma and Nash use their Shining Draw/Barian's Chaos Draw to get 2 level 5 monsters and Xyz Summon Number 73: Abyss Splash and in which Nash uses The Seventh One (maybe it is also another reference I am missing). Eternity of the Seven Emperors basically only exists for Nafil Asylum Heth Knight to negate the effects of small monsters, while being searchable (also it is another reference to Nash's Number C101 having an ability to deteach all materials to Special Summon Number 101 from his graveyard against Don Thousand). I would hope that them keeping the other new Xyz for last is a good sign and not a sign that that one would be gimmicky trash. Edit: On Pojo someone mentioned that Mermaid Shark exists and can search Abyss Shark, which might finally make that card usable, given that it finally has a more than solid non-Normal Summon reliant target.
