Kanashimi's Generic Cards

Recommended Posts

EDITED the thread title so that i can keep posting generic (singles?) card here:

Anyway, first, a simple card for meme purpose:

SzFR7ZR.gif

Finger Snap

Spell/Normal

The first time you activate a Spell/Trap after this card is activated, you do not pay the cost to activate its effect, also its activation and effects cannot be negated. For the rest of this turn after this card is activated, you cannot add a card(s) from your Deck to your hand, except by drawing them.

"In the hands of a masterful magician, with a single snap of their fingers, an ultimate spell be cast upon, bringing down both miracles and oblivions."

Now unto the 2nd

JzqTh1q.gif

Eda, the Genesis of Cards

LIGHT/Level 1

Cyberse/Effect

Each time a card(s) is added to your hand, this card gains 1000 ATK each. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step. You can only control 1 "Eda, the Genesis of Cards".

I don't know if it could be worded better, but at the very least I know that after Spell/Trap you should add "Card". You must always use Card if you're talking about the activation of a Spell/Trap. You can omit it when it's not an activation, as in ""Discard 1 card; add 1 Spell/Trap from your GY to your hand".

I'm unsure about the card, pretty conditional so you'd have to run a crapload of cost bearing Spell/Traps in the Deck in order to make this solid. It'd be hilarious to see a non-cost Solemn Judgment for instance. Btw, what I'm thinking is, are there cards with... ummm... let's call it "adjustable" cost with which you can abuse this card. I'm talking about an effect such as "You can pay LP in multiples of 100; do X". Because you could very well say, welp, I pay 7900 LP, but lulz, I don't pay.

The art is beautiful, how many images are there in this animation, I wonder.

I think ignoring that cost in exchange for this card is fine! You already can't pay more LP then you have so you could use the maximum with no consequences... but maybe it should be delayed 2-4 turns instead to add a little risk?

Yeah, im used to skipping Card on a Spell/Trap wording a lot, fix that later on.

This so that you don't have to banish a lot, in exchange for a +0 instead.

This and this, mitigate the -2 into -1.

Or you can be pro and use this. Like you mention, LP cost ala Solemn Counter Trap or Cybernetic Fusion can do too.

This card is versatile enough, to make sure your chosen S/T goes uninterrupted/or if it has a cost, you make cheaper becomes -1 (by playing this instead)

That is the reward for them, if we are talking a Deck that use cost-heavy S/T, and you do need to open this in order to do bidings. If not this card is just a tech to make sure your key S/T resolves.

Thanks, it has 40 layers (so 40 images in a single gif), and i am just using a resources from another card game and slap it to YGO, and call it done.

What risk? Why delayed? The card is already meme enough, adding delay only render it trash, i dont know what you referring here. I need to remind you, the restriction in the last part is to make sure you dont do stupid thing with Left Arm Offering.

We were talking about cards that ask you to pay LP in intervals and get an appropriate effect based on how much you played. How do you think that works here?

Yeah that was stupid
