Pot of Avarice: Discussion

Well...I suppose it wouldn't hurt Lightsworn too much...The two free cards are pretty priceless' date=' but messing up your drawing ratio between S/Ts and monsters is bad, which this card does. I'd say it's playable in Lightsworn, but I'd use their other draw card instead of which I've forgotten the name.

No. Fattening the deck = killing Lightsworn.

Ok, that's one opinion, and I did say I'd prefer to use their themed draw card instead. I don't think just using Avarice will kill you, but I also think there are better cards just like with any deck. Pretty much any deck COULD use it, but doesn't due to the fact that there are better cards out there. The thought of using PoA never crossed my mind when I first heard of Lightsworn, and really I don't think Avarice will help or destroy Lightsworn THAT much. I never suggested it would be a good idea, which you seem to think I did.

It certainly won't help much. And the fact that it fattens the deck is about as counterintuitive as you can get in a Lightsworn deck.

It's actually pretty good. It can save you from Decking Out if you're running Lightsworn cards.

If you deckout while playing Lightlords, then you aren't playing them right.

If you would deck out with Lightlords' date=' you deserve to deck out with Lightlords.

Well, there are thousands of people across the world who play this game. I bet some of those thousands have already thought of it. Besides, you're saying that if you're running Lightsworn, you're making yourself lose.

No, what I'm saying is that if you're running Lightlords badly and making yourself lose, you deserve to lose.

pot of avarice is good in any deck i have one ' date=' anyone dising this card has not played yugioh very long.

Or do you have this backwards?

Correct is:

"Pot of Avarice is good in some decks. I think it is godly cause I dont know how compettative play works."

___________

Back on subject, If you don't know how to run a deck, you dont deserve to run the deck. (agreeing with Crab)

Maybe you should put 1 PoA in your side deck if running Lightsworns, Just in case.

First quote: oops. I just thought it would conclude it a bit.

Second quote: Oh. I didn't know that's what you meant. My mistake.
