Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon looks tolerable, given the existence of Ultimate Fusion ... I guess.

Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon looks like it will mostly be a nuisance, given that it can revive for an indefinite number of turns, while having a battle protection effect to prevent the cheap way of answering it. Furthermore it will be summonable of the downside of "True Light" and protect the own field against that downside.

The Tyrant of D. is a discount version of Magicians' Souls, which might still be good enough, especially given that it can be summoned by milling a Blue-Eyes White Dragon and then discard a Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon to revive it.

Ultimate Fusion looks like a nice extender and an actually reasonable way to access the non-contact fusion Blue-Eyes Fusion monsters.

All things considered these are not fixing the issues of Blue-Eyes, but are at the very least not dead weight.
