Phantom Roxas Posted October 9, 2021 Report Share Posted October 9, 2021 Epsilon gives the Magnet Warriors a Prisma equivalent, plus it gives you an extra Magnet Warrior, so I'd say it's good. XYZ Combine feels far too situational. I could maybe see using the two-part combinations like XY, YZ, or XZ, so summon one of them with the two you have to get the third piece, then return your Fusion Monster to get the other two back then go into XYZ, but that really doesn't seem worth it. The only scenario I could see that being useful for is if you bricked and needed this as a roundabout way to get into XYZ. I get that it says any Light Machine Union monster, but even in a deck running A-Z, how often is that effect going to be used for when you banishing anything but Y or Z? It really seems like this card was just made to encourage people to play the two-part combinations, which is really not something that should be a priority for that deck. Darj Posted October 9, 2021 Report Share Posted October 9, 2021 IDK how Magnet Warriors work so can't properly comment on Epsilon. I can only see that the mill + revival effect is solid. XYZ Combine doesn't seem as good. As pointed above, looks like it encourages the use of the 2-material XYZ Fusions, but those aren't big threats anyway. The (1) has potential as an extender if you can consistently banish a LIGHT Machine Union, but then it requires you to run any of the listed monsters and 3 copies of this if you want to see it as soon as possible, and that sounds cloggy. I do want to highlight that the cost of the (2) effect works with any Fusion, so you could shortcut or make it live with cards like Instant Fusion and the other Instant Fusion.
