Basic idea: A certain type of card, when drawn, can be put to the side in a specific zone, until it's activation requirements are activated

BASIC INFORMATION

  • Prophecy Zone
  1. Below the banished zone
  2. Most cards cannot be placed in
  • Prophecy Spells
  1. Can only be placed in the "Prophecy Zone"
  2. Cannot be destroyed by Spell, Trap or Monster effect
  3. Can be activated anytime the activation requirements are fulfilled and the card is in the "Prophecy Zone"
  4. Banish Face-down when activated
  • Prophesised Monsters
  1. Can only be "Prophecy Summoned" by "Ancient Prophecy of a Saviour"
  2. Quote

    Ancient Prophecy of a Saviour

    Prophecy Spell

    When the monsters listed on a Prophesised Monster face down in your EXTRA DECK are on the field: Banish Face-up the required materials (from the field); Prophecy Summon that Prophesised monster. This effect cannot be negated

  3. Prophesised monsters levels are treated as 12 + the star count (12 star would be level 24, 1 star would be level 13)
  4. When destroyed, Prophesised monsters are sent face-up to the extra deck, where they can be pendulum summoned
  5. Prophecy monsters are the same grey colour as tokens

Examples of Prophecy spells

  • Scroll of greed
  • Prophecy spell
  • When your opponent attacks directly: Draw 1 card

  • Tale of light
  • Prophecy spell
  • When a level 3 or lower light type monster you control is in a battle with a level 9 or higher monster: that monster gains 2750 atk and 3000 def for that battle phase only

Example of Prophesised monsters

  • The Blue Mage of legend
  • Light
  • 8 stars (level 20)
  • Spellcaster / Prophesised / Effect
  • 1 "Dark magician" and 1 "Blue eyes white dragon"
  • This card is always treated as a "Dark magician", "Blue-eyes" and "with eyes of blue" card. This card cannot be destroyed by card effects and can only be destroyed by battle.
  • ATK 5500 / DEF 4600

  • Arch-eyes Fiend of Legend
  • Dark
  • 8 stars (level 20)
  • Fiend / Prophesised / Effect
  • 1 "Red-eyes black dragon" + 2 "Archfiend" monsters
  • This card is always treated as a "Red-eyes" and "Archfiend" card. This card cannot be destroyed by card effects and can only be destroyed by battle. Once per turn: Banish 1 "Red-eyes" or "Archfiend" monster; gain that cards attack until the end of the turn.
  • ATK 5400 / DEF 4200

This card is treated as both LIGHT and DARK attribute. This card cannot be destroyed destroyed in battle or targeted by card effects while on the field. You take no damage from battles involving this card.

This card is treated as both LIGHT and DARK attribute. This card cannot be destroyed or targeted by enemy card effects. If your opponent activates a card effect: Pay 1000 lp; Negate the effect and if you do; End the chain

If this card is destroyed by card effect: Pay 4000 lp; Special summon this monster face up from the extra deck. If this card was destroyed by battle: Tribute 2 "HERO" monsters; This cards level becomes 9

This effect cannot be negated This card's mane is treated as "Ancient Prophecy of a Saviour" while in the Prophecy zone
