Vehicroid Support! Part 2

  • Hello! I wanted to drop more ideas over my favorite archetype, oh and this is the first time i draw something with the intention of post it, actually i never draw anything.
  • 1-Drillroid:
    "Before damage calculation, if this card attacks a Defense Position monster:
    Destroy that monster.
    If this card is added to your hand from your Graveyard by the effect of a "roid" card: You can select a monster your opponent control and an additional
     monster for every "roid" monster you control switch them to defense position (If a selected monster is already in defense position; destroy instead)"

(I wanted drillroid to interact with defense position monsters, but just changing to defense position seemed a little weak for me, then i added the destroy thing so the archetype has another removal)

2-Jetroid: 
"At the time a "roid" monster is selected as an attack target by a opponent´s monster, you can activate Trap Card(s) from your hand.
If this card is added from your GY to your hand by the effect of a "roid" card: Target a "Vehicroid" Spell or Trap card on your Graveyard and add it to your hand."

(This effect has always been curious for me so i made it a defensive effect and the "GY to your hand" effect is the only related thing i could thing..)


3-Patroid:
"Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can look at 1 face-down card your opponent controls, then return it to its original position.
If this card is added from you GY to your hand by the effect of a "roid" card: You can target 1 card your opponent control and an additional card for every "roid" monster you control (your opponent can´t activate the effect of the selected cards in response to this effect) until the end of the turn
your opponent cannot activate the effects of the selected cards and their effects are negated.

(The "GY to your hand" effect is an "on steroids version" of the first one, and if a cop is going to check on your things you shouldn´t do anything about it so because of that i added the part that

keep your opponent from doing anything, and to avoid any activation either from face-up or face-down cards i added the last.)

 

4-Vehicroid Penalty Fee:
"You can target a card your opponent control (your opponent can´t activate cards in response to this card´s activation)
then apply one of the following effects:

_Select a "roid" monster you control: reveal a "Vehicroid" fusion monster in your extra deck in which the selected monster is listed as a fusion material
of that card and if you do send the opponent´s selected card to the graveyard.
_Select a "Vehicroid" fusion monster you control: Send the opponent´s selected card to the graveyard; as long you control a "vehicroid" fusion monster your opponent cannot select that card
with effects and negate it´s effects."

(A self-made card i wanted to make it Vehicroid exclusive removal, that is the "show a vehicroid fusion monster from your extra deck" part for.)

5-Vehicroid Rescue Team:
"Special summon a "roid" monster from your deck then send to the graveyard a "roid" monster from your deck, and if you do until the end of the turn
the only monsters you can special summon from your deck are "Vehicroid" fusion monsters.
During either player turn you can tribute a "roid" monster you control; add to you hand from your Graveyard "roid" monsters whose levels are equal to or lower than the level of the tributed monster."

(An initiator for vehicroid combos, and thats why the limitation to "Vehicroid fusion monsters" and the second one to respond to your opponent removals, because it will "rescue" your roid i think)

6-Submarineroid:
"This card can attack your opponent directly, but when it does so using this effect, the battle damage inflicted to your opponent is the original ATK of this card.
At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked or was attacked: You can change this card to Defense Position.
If this card is added from your GY to your hand by the effect of a "roid" card: you can switch any amount of "roid" monsters you control defense position an then
all "roid" monsters you control gain 400 DEF for every face-up "roid monster you control."

(i really like the direct attack effect and its synergy with Megaroid City so i keep it as it is, and then a defensive effect that can make your roid monsters really tanky)

7-Stealthroid:

"If this card attacks, destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card from your opponent if you control another "roid" monster.
If this card is added from your Graveyard to your hand by the effect of a "roid" card: you can select a Spell or Trap card your opponent control
and an additional Spell or Trap card for every "roid" monster you control; destroy those targets."

(i buffed his original effect, it was terrible really, and the second one that its resembles to the original one, besides i think it´s  really "stealth" to destroy the enemy backrow i guess)

    Destroy that monster. Like before in addition to grammar I'm going to suggest power boosts in this case how about "destroy all defense position monsters your opponent controls".
    If this card is added to your hand from your Graveyard by the effect of a "roid" card: You can select a monster your opponent control and an additional
     monster for every "roid" monster you control switch them to defense position (If a selected monster is already in defense position; destroy instead)" The added to hand effect is really powerful for a lot of these and I think targeting per roid you control would just be simpler and more balanced. so, "If this card is added to your hand from your Graveyard by the effect of a "roid" card: Switch the battle possition of a number of monsters your opponent controls up to the number of "roid" cards you control." 

Ask me for grammar on the others if this isn't enough.

"When a "roid" monster is targeted for an attack or by an opponent's monster effect: you can activate a trap from your hand in response as if it was set." for the second effect just add the statement of choice "you can"

split this into its own continuous spell

You can take out "if you control another roid" otherwise put that at the start as part of the condition.

I was a joy looking over your cards. Your wording has greatly improved! Most of the advice is opinionated but I tried to show how the original could be fixed without the change simultaneously.
