After activation: Add 1 "Cellular Dragon" Monster from your Deck to your hand. If a Dragon Normal Monster with 500 or less ATK is Normal Summoned: Special Summon up to 2 monsters with the same name as the summoned monster from your hand, Deck or GY, also, for the rest of the turn, you cannot Normal or Special Summon Monsters except non Link Dragon Monsters. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can shuffle 3 monsters with the same name from your GY into your Deck; draw 1 card. You can only activate 1 "Dragon Cloning Plant" per turn.

You can only activate this effect "5D's Genetic Dragner" once per turn.

cloning: it search, it swarm, and recover your advantage. amazing

Fusion: bit costly dragon mirror with only perk of stat change. at least to certain degree it should be searchable

endurance: a bit random? for the most part its fine except for 4000 or less option. just make the damage halved or something

Oblivion: well its really simple all things consider. expensive beater with strongest immunity.

Prototype + 5Ds: well it intended as ladder. with the end board of destruction+damage that able to float to complete board mat. decent

Chimera: same old same old big beater with protection. i guess it is effective design

Full agree with basically everything said here, it's a solid idea and with some more work could definitely be an interesting concept fully fleshed out. My only major critique comes with the level 1 normal monsters. Given that the field spell and almost all of the monsters allow you to summon monsters "with the same name", you're being forced to run multiple copies of each card to fully utilize your advantage and maximize the effect of these cards. That means that you're most likely running anywhere from 10-15 of these things, and given that you don't want to open with more than 1-2, that's over a quarter of your deck that's dead in an opening hand. Finding a balanced way to more easily manage your hand definitely seems like a way to make this not only more fun, but more competitive. That's just how I see it though.
