Darj
Red-Eyes Dusk Wheeler DARK/Machine/Effect/Level 11 3100/2700 1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters For this card's Synchro Summon, you can treat 1 "Red-Eyes" monster you control as a Tuner. If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target Normal Spell/Trap in the GYs; equip it to this card as an Equip Spell. You can banish 1 Spell/Trap equipped to this card; apply that Spell/Trap's effect when it is activated. This effect can only be used only once while this card is face-up the field. When a card or effect is activated that would make a card(s) leave the field (Quick Effect): You can target 1 "Red-Eyes" monster you control; negate the effect, and if you do, equip that card to the targeted monster as an Equip Spell. You can only use this effect of "Red-Eyes Dusk Wheeler" once per turn. Saw the picture, noticed the Red-Eyes, remembered Joey's last name, and also got vibes from Dawn Dragster and its Spell/Trap negation, and this is what came up from that. As the opening statement implies, this is inspired and a nod to both Joey Wheeler and its Red-Eyes archetype, as well as F.A. or at the very least Dawn Dragster. It's intended to combo with Slash Dragon, which also comes with negation and needs Equips to function better. You could also say that it's a Synchro as a reference to 5Ds, which introduces Synchros and because card games on motorcyles, but that's an stretch. I'm pondering on making it into an actual F.A. member but IDK how would it conflict with flavor since it's merging F.A.s with Red-Eyes. Do F.A.s even appear in the anime? IDK. The text for the negation effect is experimental because I believe no card with such condition exists, but it should be clear enough on what it's intended to negate: it would work against destruction, bounce, spin, banish, but not on disruption such as negation that doesn't destroy, position changes (including face-down), and I'm not sure if it would work vs. temporary banishment such as Farfa's. Anyway, thoughts?
Dokutah
at its core, its a good card. negation for any effect that involve removal that equips thus bypassing immunity. it aslo plays quite well with the equip variant of Red-Eyes. it can even support Dragoon plays provided you dump the fusion card first being level 11 from all things does takes effort, but thankfully it has built alternatives so you wont burden your deck much
Darj
Thanks for the reply. Went for Level 11 because the most flavorful play would be using the vanilla Red-Eyes B. Dragon as Tuner, and I figure a Level 4 monster would be to most common level to pair it with. Plus, 2-material | Level 11 is a Synchro pool that is rather lacking in options, last time I checked. Dokutah
I forgot to mention this but IMO farfa banishment is still removal so the negation should able intercept that
