JairoLeyn100 Posted August 19, 2021 Report Share Posted August 19, 2021 Today I brought to you all a new Archetype, focused mostly on Fusion; the "Elemental Dragons". This is an idea that's been on my mind for years, and I've made some cards for it before, but I ended up changing them. Fusion Archetypes, such as "Elemental HEROS", "Gem-Knights", and many more, inspired me to make this Archetype. This Archetype's theme combines two concepts, that I've been a fan for a while: Dragons and Elements. I hope you guys like my cards, and let me know which changes should you recommend me to do. I'll gladly accept it. UPDATE: I've made some modifications to two cards that I've been recommended: "Elemental Dragon of Light" and "Elemental Dragon of Crystal". And I also added four NEW CARDS. Check down below the Trap card's section. "Dark Dragonoid" You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 DARK Dragon monster from your Deck to the field. If this card leaves the field, you can Special Summon this card back to the field in Face-Up Defense Position. You can only use 1 "Dark Dragonoid" effect per turn, and only once that turn. "Holy Dragonoid" You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 LIGHT Dragon monster from your Deck to the field. If this card leaves the field, you can target 1 monster on the field; and if you do, reduce that monster's ATK by this card's ATK. You can only use 1 "Holy Dragonoid" effect per turn, and only once that turn. "Burst Dragonoid" You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 FIRE Dragon monster from your Deck to the field. If this card leaves the field, inlfict Damage to your opponent equal to this card's ATK. You can only use 1 "Burst Dragonoid" effect per turn, and only once that turn. "Rock Dragonoid" You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 EARTH Dragon monster from your Deck to the field. If this card leaves the field, you can destroy 1 monster on the field. You can only use 1 "Rock Dragonoid" effect per turn, and only once that turn. "Aquatic Dragonoid" This card can attack your opponent directly. You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 WATER Dragon monster from your Deck to the field. If this card leaves the field, you can draw 1 card. You can only use 1 "Aquatic Dragonoid" effect per turn, and only once that turn. "Winged Dragonoid" You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 WIND Dragon monster from your Deck to the field. If this card leaves the field, you can destroy 1 Spell/Trap card on the field. You can only use 1 "Winged Dragonoid" effect per turn, and only once that turn. "Elemental Dragon of Darkness" When this card is Special Summoned: You can banish 1 Dragon monster in your Graveyard; and if you do, add 1 Dragon monster of the same Attribute as the banished monster from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, when a card's effect is activated: You can negate that card's effect; and if you do, banish that card until the Standy Phase of the next turn. "Elemental Dragon of Light" *UPDATED* When this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 Dragon monster in your Graveyard, add it to your hand. Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1: Target 1 monster your opponent controls, reduce that monster's ATK by half; and if you do, increase the ATK of 1 monster you control, except this card, by the same amount. This card cannot attack the turn this effect was activated. "Elemental Dragon of Fire" When this card is Special Summoned: Inflict 200 Damage to your opponent x each card in your hand. When this card destroys a monster by battle: You can inflict 800 Damage to your opponent. "Elemental Dragon of Earth" When this card is Special Summoned: Until the end of this turn, this card cannot be destroyed by card effects. Once per turn, during either player's turn (Quick Effect): You can change this card from Attack Position to Defense Position. "Elemental Dragon of Water" When this card is Special Summoned: You can shuffle as many Dragon monsters from your Graveyard to your Deck as possible; and if you do, draw cards equal to the amount of Dragon monsters shuffled. Once per turn: This card can avoid destruction. "Elemental Dragon of Wind" When this card is Special Summoned: Destroy all Spell/Trap cards on the field. Once per turn: You can target 1 Spell card in your Graveyard, add it to your hand. This card cannot attack the turn this effect was activated. "Elemental Dragon of Metal" Cannot be Normal Summoned This card must first be Special Summoned (from your Deck or your hand), by Tributing 1 EARTH Dragon monster equipped with "Metalmorph". Once per turn: You can target 1 "Elemental Dragon" in your Graveyard, Special Summon it to the field. "Dual Elemental Dragon" 2 "Elemental Dragon" monsters with different Attributes When this card is Fusion Summoned: It's Attribute becomes the same as the Fusion Materials original Attributes. While this card is Face-Up on the field, increase the ATK/DEF of all monsters you control with the same Attribute as this card, by 300. "Elemental Dragon of Blue Fire" "Elemental Dragon of Fire" + "Elemental Dragon of Darkness" This card is also DARK-Attribute. When this card destroys a monster by battle, at the end of the Battle Phase: Target 1 Dragon monster in your Graveyard, inflict damage to your opponent equal to it's ATK. "Elemental Dragon of Bones" "Elemental Dragon of Earth" + "Elemental Dragon of Darkness" This card is also DARK-Attribute. If this card is in the Graveyard, after it was Fusion Summoned, during either players turn (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon it to field in Face-Up Defense Position. You can only use "Elemental Dragon of Bones" effect once per turn. "Elemental Dragon of Chaos" "Elemental Dragon of Light" + "Elemental Dragon of Darkness" This card is also DARK-Attribute. This card gains 200 ATK/DEF x each Dragon monster in your Graveyard. Once per turn, when this card destroys a monster by battle: Inflict Damage equal to the difference between it's ATK and DEF to the owner. "Elemental Dragon of Crystal" *UPDATED* "Elemental Dragon of Light" + "Elemental Dragon of Earth" This card is also EARTH-Attribute. Once per turn: You can send 1 Dragon monster (from your Deck) to the Graveyard; and if you do, this card's name becomes the same as the monster sent to the Graveyard, until the end of this turn. This card cannot attack the turn you activated this effect. While this card is in the Graveyard: You can Fusion Summon a monster from your Extra Deck, by banishing this card and another monster in your Graveyard as Fusion Material. "Elemental Dragon of Ice" "Elemental Dragon of Water" + "Elemental Dragon of Wind" This card is also WIND-Attribute. When this card is Fusion Summoned: All Spell/Trap cards on the field cannot activate their effects for 3 of your opponent turns. If this card leaves the field, destroy all Spell/Trap cards on the field. "Elemental Dragon of Lightning" "Elemental Dragon of Light" + "Elemental Dragon of Wind" This card is also WIND-Attribute. Once per turn, during your Main Phase: You can target 1 Dragon monster in your Graveyard; and if you do, destroy all Face-Up monsters your opponent controls whose Level are lower than the targetted monster. "Elemental Dragon of Magma" "Elemental Dragon of Fire" + "Elemental Dragon of Earth" This card is also EARTH-Attribute. When this card is Fusion Summoned: You can target 1 Fusion Material that was used for a Fusion Summon, in your Graveyard; add it to your hand. When this card leaves the field: Destroy all monsters your opponent controls. "Elemental Dragon of Mercury" "Elemental Dragon of Metal" + 1 "Elemental Dragon" monster This card cannot be targetted by card effects. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 1 Face-Up monster on the field, reduce that monster's ATK or DEF by half; and if you do, increase this card's ATK or DEF by the same amount until the end of this turn. "Elemental Dragon of Platinum" "Elemental Dragon of Metal" + 1 "Elemental Dragon" monster This card cannot be targetted by card effects. During your Main Phase: You can target 1 Spell/Trap card in your Graveyard, shuffle it into the Deck; and if you do, draw 1 card. During your Maind Phase: You can target 1 Level 6 or higher Dragon monster in your Graveyard, Special Summon it to the field. This card cannot attack the turn one of these effects was activated. You can only use 1 "Elemental Dragon of Platinum" effect per turn, and only once that turn. "Elemental Dragon of Poison" "Elemental Dragon of Darkness" + "Elemental Dragon of Wind" This card is also WIND-Attribute. While this card is face-up on the field, during either player's Standy Phase: Both players receive 500 Damage. When this card attacks a monster or is attacked: Reduce that monster's ATK by 500. "Elemental Dragon of Sand" "Elemental Dragon of Wind" + "Elemental Dragon of Earth" This card is also EARTH-Attribute. When this card is Fusion Summoned: Special Summon 2 "Sand Wyvern Token" (Dragon/WIND/Level 4/ATK 1200/DEF 800). Once per turn: Destroy 1 WIND monster you control; and if you do, target 1 Dragon monster in your Graveyard, Special Summon it to the field. "Sand Wyvern Token": Special Summoned with the effect of "Elemental Dragon of Wind". This Token cannot be used as a Tribute for a Tribute Summon. "Elemental Dragon of Steam" "Elemental Dragon of Fire" + "Elemental Dragon of Water" This card is also WATER-Attribute. While this card is face-up on the field, it cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects. This card can attack your opponent directly. Each time this card attack your opponent directly, increase it's ATK/DEF by 500. "Elemental Dragon of Wood" "Elemental Dragon of Earth" + "Elemental Dragon of Water" This card is also WATER-Attribute. Once per turn: This card can avoid being destroyed by card effects. Once per turn, during your Standy Phase: You can target 1 Dragon monster in your Graveyard; and if you do, add it to your hand. "Elemental Dragon of Coral" "Elemental Dragon of Wood" + "Elemental Dragon of Water" This card is also EARTH Attribute. Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Materials by the effect of "Advance Elemental Fusion" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. During your Main Phase: You can discard 1 card from your hand; and if you do, this card can attack twice this turn. You can target 1 WATER Dragon monster in your Graveyard, Special Summon it to the field. You can only use 1 "Elemental Dragon of Coral" effect per turn, and only once that turn. If this card leaves the field: Send the Fusion Dragon monster used as Fusion Material to the Extra Deck; then Special Summon the other material to the field. "Elemental Dragon of Crimson Lightning" "Elemental Dragon of Lightning" + "Elemental Dragon of Fire" This card is also LIGHT and WIND-Attribute. Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Materials by the effect of "Advance Elemental Fusion" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Fusion Summoned: Destroy all cards on the field besides this card; this card gains 200 ATK/DEF x each card destroyed on your opponent's side of the field, but it loses 200 ATK/DEF x each card destroyed on your side. If this card leaves the field: Send the Fusion Dragon monster used as Fusion Material to the Extra Deck; then Special Summon the other material to the field. "Elemental Dragon of Dark Matter" "Elemental Dragon of Crystal" + "Elemental Dragon of Darkness" This card is also EARTH and LIGHT-Attribute. Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Materials by the effect of "Advance Elemental Fusion" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card cannot be targetted by card effects. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inlfict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. If this card attacks an Attack Position monster, destroy it before the Damage Calculation; and if you do, this card can attack once more. If this card leaves the field: Send the Fusion Dragon monster used as Fusion Material to the Extra Deck; then Special Summon the other material to the field. "Elemental Dragon of Diamond" "Elemental Dragon of Magma" + "Elemental Dragon of Earth" This card is also FIRE-Attribute. Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Materials by the effect of "Advance Elemental Fusion" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card cannot be targetted by card effects. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inlfict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase. If this card leaves the field: Send the Fusion Dragon monster used as Fusion Material to the Extra Deck; then Special Summon the other material to the field. "Elemental Dragon of Frost Fire" "Elemental Dragon of Ice" + "Elemental Dragon of Fire" This card is also WATER and WIND-Attribute. Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Materials by the effect of "Advance Elemental Fusion" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Fusion Summoned: Reduce the ATK of all monsters your opponent controls by half. When this card attacks: Your opponent cannot activate card effects until the end of Damage Step. If this card leaves the field: Send the Fusion Dragon monster used as Fusion Material to the Extra Deck; then Special Summon the other material to the field. "Elemental Dragon of Obsidian" "Elemental Dragon of Magma" + "Elemental Dragon of Water" This card is also FIRE and EARTH-Attribute. Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Materials by the effect of "Advance Elemental Fusion" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card can only attack diretly. As long as this card is face-up on the field: Your opponent can only attack this card. Once per turn: This card can avoid being destroy by card effects. If this card leaves the field: Send the Fusion Dragon monster used as Fusion Material to the Extra Deck; then Special Summon the other material to the field. "Elemental Dragon of Storm" "Elemental Dragon of Lightning" + "Elemental Dragon of Wind" This card is also LIGHT-Attribute. Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Materials by the effect of "Advance Elemental Fusion" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Fusion Summoned: Destroy all monsters your opponent controls. This card cannot attack the turn this effect was activated. Send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard to declare an attack with this monster. If this card leaves the field: Send the Fusion Dragon monster used as Fusion Material to the Extra Deck; then Special Summon the other material to the field. "NINE-HEADED ELEMENTAL DRAGON" 9 "Elemental Dragon" monsters This card is also DARK, FIRE, WIND, WATER, and EARTH-Attribute. Cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects. This card attack cannot be negated. During the end of your next turn: DEstroy this card and banish it; and if you do, inflict damage to the actual controller of this card equal to it's ATK. "MESSAHYA, THE AVATAR OF THE ELEMENTS" "Elemental Dragon of Darkness" + "Elemental Dragon of Light" + "Elemental Dragon of Fire" + "Elemental Dragon of Earth" + "Elemental Dragon of Water" + "Elemental Dragon of Wind" Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Materials and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Unaffected by card effects. This card becomes DARK, FIRE, EARTH, WATER, and WIND-Attribute. When this card is Fusion Summoned, send all banished Dragon monsters to the Graveyard. This card gains 500 ATK/DEF x each "Elemental Dragon" monster in your Graveyard. Once per turn: You can banish 1 "Elemental Dragon" Fusion monster in your Graveyard; this card gains that monster's effect until the Standy Phase of your next turn. If this card leaves the field: Destroy all cards on the field; and if you do, Special Summon 3 "Elemental Dragon" non-Fusion monsters from your Graveyard. "Advance Elemental Fusion" Fusion Summon 1 "Elemental Dragon" Fusion monster that lists an "Elemental Dragon" Fusion monster as material from your Extra Deck, by using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Materials. This card's effect cannot be negated. "Dragonic Insight" Send 1 Dragon monster from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard, then draw 1 card. "Dragonic Gale" Target Dragon monsters in your Graveyard equal to the number of WIND Dragon monsters you control, shuffle them into the Deck; and if you do, draw 2 cards. You cannot declare an attack during the turn this card was used. "Dragon Egg Spawner" Special Summon "Dragon Egg Tokens" (Dragon/FIRE/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defense Position x each Dragon monsters in your hand (if you don't have any, summon only 1). During the End Phase, while in the Graveyard: Banish this card and Special Summon Level 4 or lower Dragon monsters from your Deck x each "Dragon Egg Token" destroyed by battle or by card effects during that same turn. You can only use 1 "Dragon Egg Spawner" per duel. "Dragon Egg Token": Special Summoned with the effect of "Dragon Egg Spawner". "Dragon Soul" Until the end of this turn, all Dragon monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle. When your opponent's monster declares a direct attack: Until the end of this turn, reduce all battle damage to 0. You can only use 1 "Dragon Soul" effect per turn and only once that turn. You can also activate this card from the Graveyard, only if it was sent there by any other means besides it's own effects, and only once until it's shuffled back to the Deck. "Wyvern Assault" Special Summon 3 "Elemental Wyvern Token" (Dragon/Level 3/ATK 900/DEF 900) and choose an Attribute x each one. "Elemental Wyvern Token": Special Summoned with the effect of "Wyvern Assault". "ELEMENTAL DRAGONIC FUSION" Fusion Summon 1 "Elemental Dragon" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand, field and/or Deck as Fusion Materials. That monster cannot attack the turn it was Fusion Summoned. If an "Elemental Dragon" Fusion Monster would be sent to the Graveyard or banished as a result of a battle or a card effect, while this card is in the Graveyard: Send it to the Extra Deck instead; and if you do, shuffle this card into the Deck along with that monster's Fusion Materials (if they're still in the Graveyard), then draw 1 card. "Elemental Fusion Reaction" Once per turn: You can Fusion Summon 1 "Elemental Dragon" from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or your side of the field as Fusion Materials; and if you do, it's ATK/DEF are halved until the Standy Phase of your next turn. "Tribute of Elements" You can sacrifice 1 "Dragonoid" monster you control with an Attribute, Special Summon (from your Deck) 1 "Elemental Dragon" monster with the same Attribute. You can target 1 "Dragonoid" monster in your Graveyard, shuffle it into the Deck. You can only use 1 "Tribute of the Elements" effect per turn, and only once that turn. "Dragon Valley" The amount of monsters required for the Tribute Summon of a Dragon monster is reduced by 1. Once per turn: You can Special Summon (from your hand) 1 Level 4 or lower Dragon monster. "Anarchy of the Elemental Dragons" If there are 2 or more "Elemental Dragon" monsters in your Graveyard, each one with a different Attribute, use one of these effects: * Destroy cards on the field equal to the same amount. * Draw cards x each different Attribute. You can only activate 1 "Anarchy of the Elemental Dragons" per turn. "Dragonic Ascension" Target up to 3 Dragon monsters in your Graveyard, shuffle them into the Deck, then draw 2 cards. You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 Dragon monster in your Graveyard, Special Summon it to the field. "Dragonic Battle" This card remains on the field for 3 turns. While this card is face-up on the field, only Dragon monsters can declare an attack. If this face-up card is destroyed by a card's effect: You can target 1 Dragon monster you control; until the end of this turn, that monster cannot be targetted for an attack nor by card effects. "Dragonic Impact" When an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can send 1 Dragon monster from your hand to the Graveyard, negate the attack; and if you do, change the attacking monster into Defense Position. "Elemental Collision" When an opponent's monster declares an attack on a Dragon monster you control: Declare an Attribute; until the end of this turn, your opponent can only attack monsters you control with the declared Attribute. "Re-Shuffle of the Elements" All face-up monsters on the field are shuffled back into their original controllers' Decks, then each player draw cards from their Decks x each monster returned to their Decks. Any drawn monster with an Attribute equal to 1 of the shuffled monsters is Special Summoned to the field, but their effects are negated and their ATK/DEF become 0. And that's all the cards so far. I'm planning to add more in the near future. For now, I wanted to show you guys what I made so far. Most of the Spells and Traps are support to all Dragon monsters, but either way I put them in this Archetype as support. I was thinking maybe add some Link monsters to this Archetype aswell, but I'm not 100% sure. What do you guys think? *NEW CARDS* "Elemental Dragon of Aether" 2 Level 4 Dragon monsters If this card is Link Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Dragon monster from your Graveyard to a zone this card points to. You can only use this effect of "Elemental Dragon of Aether" once per turn. "Elemental Dragon of Nether" 2 Level 4 Dragon monsters If this card is Link Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Dragon monster from your hand to a zone this card points to;and if you do, change that monster's Level to 4. You can only use this effect of "Elemental Dragon of Nether" once per turn. "Drakhimist, Alchemist of the Elements" 2+ "Elemental Dragon" monsters Once per turn, apply 1 of the following effects, depending on the monster's Attributes this card points to: * DARK: Destroy 1 monster your opponent controls. * LIGHT: Half the ATK or DEF of an opponent's monster, and add the same amount to this card. * FIRE: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to this card's ATK. * EARTH: Can avoid destruction for this turn. * WATER: Can attack your opponent directly, but the damage dealt is halved. * WIND: Destroy 1 Spell/Trap card on your opponent's field. If this card is in the Graveyard, except the turn it was sent there: You can banish it to perform a Fusion Summon by using monsters face-up on your field. "Elemental Dragon of Ether" "Elemental Dragon of Aether" + "Elemental Dragon of Nether" Unaffected by card effects. Once per turn, if this card attacks or is attcked (Quick Effect): You can target 1 of this card's Fusion Materials banished or in the Graveyard, return it to the Extra Deck; and if you do, this card can avoid destruction for the rest of this turn. The only 2 cards that need minor change in my opinion would be "Elemental Dragon of Light" and "Elemental Dragon of Crystal" by making them hard once per turns. Also using tokens as Fusion fodder is actually genius! As for the Link monsters idea I'd recommend mostly Link 2s and maybe a Link 3 with minor protection. Tho I am confused on Elemental Dragon of Light and Crystal since all I said was make them hard once per turns (You can only activate/use the effect of *insert monster name* one per turn) But still love it regardless. Tho I am confused on Elemental Dragon of Light and Crystal since all I said was make them hard once per turns (You can only activate/use the effect of *insert monster name* one per turn) But still love it regardless.
