Dokutah
Lonesome Troubadour WATER/ Level 7 / Fish / Pendulum / Effect Pendulum Scale: 2 -Pendulum Text- None -Monster Text- Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Pendulum Summoned, either with no other monsters while you control no monsters OR at the same time with up to 2 other "Lonesome Troubadour" (and no other monsters). If 3 "Lonesome Troubadour" are Summoned from your hand or flipped face-up at the same time (including this card): Special Summon any number of "Wholesome Tokens" (Fish/WATER/Level 5/ATK 500/DEF 2500) and draw 2 cards. You can only use this effect of "Lonesome Troubadour" once per turn. 2700 / 2500 Based on tragic true story of 52-hertz Whale a.k.a the loneliest whale (hence number 5 and 2 [well also 7 since 5+2] motifs and Troubadour, singers of love songs). Well the last effect is a bit greedy ill admit (if not a bit on flavor with fantastical happy ending for our whale, awww.. ) and open to suggestion of better and balance value effect, but it tied to luck game of trying to pendulum all 3 of the whales from hand via my experimental nomi clause for pendulum summoning which is focal point of this creation. wdyt about the summon clause? Pommelo
I think I can help with some grammar fixes, Doc Quote Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Pendulum Summoned, either with no other monsters while you control no monsters OR at the same time with up to 2 other "Lonesome Troubadour" (and no other monsters). If 3 "Lonesome Troubadour" are Summoned from your hand or flipped face-up at the same time: Special Summon any number of "Wholesome Tokens" (Fish/WATER/Level 5/ATK 500/DEF 2500) and draw 2 cards. You can only use this effect of "Lonesome Troubadour" once per turn. I'm unsure if I have mentioned this to you, but the wording "and cannot be Special Summoned in/by other ways is not used anymore. Konami expects us to understand that, when something says Must be X Summoned, then that monster must be summoned in that way and no others. Since the wording for the Summoning is experimental, I suppose anything goes as long as it's understandable. I tried to be clearer by saying in parenthesis (and no other monsters) because "at the same time with only up to 2 other" sounds a bit ambiguous. Next is (including this card), which I removed. Mmm... is that specification there because of name changing effects? If that's the case, nvm, it needs it, but seems hard to pull, and since the effect is already rough to apply, I'd rather open that possibility (not too flavourful, I know, but still). Finally, re-arranged the traits of the Token, as you should always list them as Type/Attribute/Level/ATK/DEF. 3 hours ago, Dokutah Jolly said: wdyt about the summon clause? Not a fan of Pendulums in general, but due to them being overpowered in the past. Right now they don't seem as scary, and this clause makes everything harder. For the sake of flavour, I approve, but I dunno, the strong effect seems completely balanced by the difficulty to apply it. You know I forget about cards that might support you to pull this off, but the fact that it's a high Level Fish with nasty stats is not helping either, probably. If it had a Pendulum Effect that helped you with this, it'd be something else... anything that allows you to bring copies to the hand.

Loleo
Reminds me of Totem 5! I love this as summoning 5 monsters at once is about as difficult as 3 of the same card. The pay off is worth it!
