eseer Posted August 17, 2021 Report Share Posted August 17, 2021 So, a long while ago, like a year or two, I came with an idea for a archetype that ran off of changing control of cards. After a twentieth of the way through making it, I realized that was a stupid idea. Then, I changed the gimmick to making it so that cards are being placed in & out of the graveyard and removed from play zone, and capitalizing off that. And now, I can proudly say I have the first half of the archetype finished. I say "first half" because it also a sister archetype along with it that isn't finished. Heralder From The Flames lv 3 FIRE Fiend/Effect Once during your turn: you can pay 500 life points & send a card from the top of your deck to the graveyard to make your opponent send one from their deck to the graveyard. You can tribute this card to special summon it one level 7 Fiend or Fairy monster, or level 8 Spellcaster monster in your hand ATK/1800 DEF/600 Heralder From The Frost lv 7 WATER Fiend/Effect Once per turn, during the battle phase; you can discard 2 cards from your hand; if this card battles a defense position monster with defense less than this monsters attack, inflict the difference to your opponent as effect damage. If this card would be attacked while in defense position, you take damage equal to the difference between this card's defense and the attacking monster's attack. When this card attacks, change it to defense position. This cards battle position cannot be changed during the Main Phase 2. Up to twice per battle phase, if this card is involved in a battle, you can remove 2 cards from you graveyard to negate it. ATK/2500 DEF/1000 Heralder From The Seas lv 7 WATER Fiend/Effect Whenever a card is sent to the graveyard or banished pile, this card gains 200 ATK. When this card is tribute summoned, you can send up to 5 cards from your side of the field to the graveyard, then apply one of the following effects: For every 2 cards sent to the graveyard, destroy a card on the field. For every 2 cards sent to the graveyard, excavate a card. Then, you can choose whether to add each card to your hand, or send it to the graveyard If you sent 5 cards to the graveyard, you can destroy 3 monsters on the field, then draw 3 cards. You can only activate one of these effects per turn. ATK/0 DEF/2300 Heralder From The Earth lv 7 EARTH Fairy/Tuner/Effect You can special summon this card by either shuffling all cards in each player's graveyard or banished pile into their respective deck. Then, you can apply one of the following effects: Whenever this card destroys a monster, select a card in your graveyard. If it is a monster card, inflict damage equal to it's level *200. If it is a spell or trap card, shuffle it into your deck. Whenever this card destroys a monster, select a card in your banished pile. If it is a monster card, inflict damage equal to it's level *200. If it is a spell or trap card, shuffle it into your deck. If you shuffled less than 4 "Heralder From The" cards into your deck by this effect, whenever you inflict effect damage using this card's effect, you take the same amount of damage. ATK/2100 DEF/1900 Heralder From The Twisters lv 3 WIND Fairy/Effect If this card is flipped face-up, this card gains 600 ATK, and if it was attacked when it was flipped face-up, it cannot be destroyed by card effects. Once per turn, during your standby phase, you can pay 500 life points to have both players add a card from their graveyard to their hand, then banish a card from the graveyard. If this card is special summoned, it is flipped face down. ATK/1000 DEF/1900 Heralder From The Light lv 2 LIGHT Fairy/Effect/Tuner Every standby phase this card is in defense position, you place a card from your hand into your opponents hand. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Any battle damage you take involving this card is treated as effect damage. once per turn, you can send any number of spell or trap cards from your hand to the bottom of your deck; the level of this card becomes equal to the number of monsters sent to the deck. You can banish this card from your hand to add one "Heralder Of Abyss" from your deck to your hand. ATK/900 DEF/100 Heralder From The Abyss lv 2 DARK Fiend/Effect/Tuner Every standby phase this card is in defense position, you place a card from your hand into your opponents hand. this card cannot be destroyed by battle. Any battle damage you take involving this card is treated as effect damage. once per turn, you can send any number of monsters from your hand to the bottom of your deck; the level of this card becomes equal to the number of monsters sent to the deck. you can banish this card from your hand to add one "Heralder Of Shine" from your deck to your hand. Heralder From The Rainbow lv 5 LIGHT Fairy/Effect/Tuner This card's original ATK & DEF becomes equal to the number of monsters with different attributes on your side of the field *500. Once per turn, when a card effect is activated; you can send a card with the same Attribute from your side of the field to the graveyard to negate that effect and either return that card to it's owner's hand or send it to the graveyard. If this card is sent from the deck to the graveyard, you can special summon monsters with different attributes than monsters you control on the field and from each other. ATK/? DEF/? Heralder From The Nature lv 3 EARTH Fairy/Effect Whenever a card is sent from the graveyard to the hand or deck, the controller of that card gains 300 Life points for each one. Whenever a card is sent from the banished pile to the hand or deck, the controller of that card gains 300 Life points for each one. During their respective standby phase, either player can pay up to 1500 Life points to search their deck with a monster that has less DEF than the amount they paid, show it to their opponent, and add it to their hand. If a card effect would increase a players life points, you can return 2 cards from your hand to your deck to have the other player gain life points equal to the same amount. ATK/800 DEF/1700 Heralder From The Metal lv 3 EARTH Fiend/Effect Whenever a card is sent from the graveyard to the hand or deck, the controller of that cards opponent loses 300 Lifepoints for each one. Whenever a card is sent from the banished pile to the hand or deck, the controller of that cards opponent loses 300 Lifepoints for each one. During their respective standby phase, either player can pay up to 1500 Life points to search their deck with a monster that has less ATK than the amount they paid, show it to their opponent, and add it to their hand. If a card effect would decrease a players lifepoints, you can return 2 cards from your hand to your deck to double that amount. ATK/1700 DEF/800 Heralder From The Stars lv 3 DARK Psychic/Effect When this card is summoned, you can send up to 5 "Herald" or "Augur" cards from your hand or deck to the removed from play zone to have both players draw a card for each card sent. If a player would have less than 10 cards in their deck because of this effect, send all cards in their graveyard to their deck. If this card is destroyed by a card effect, you can add a number of "Heralder" or "Augur" card from your graveyard to your hand equal to the amount of cards on the field. If this card is used as Link material, you can add "Herald" or "Augur" card from your removed from play zone to your hand equal to the amount of cards on the field. If this card is used for a synchro summon you can add a number of "Herald" or "Augur" cards from your deck equal to the number of cards you have on the field. ATK/550 DEF/550 Heralder From The Ether lv 1 DARK Fiend/Effect/Tuner Whenever a card is sent to the graveyard because of a card effect: add a card from your deck to your hand with the same level. Whenever a card is banished because of a card effect: add a card from your deck to your hand with the same level. Once per turn, you can pay 1500 life points; return this card and up to 2 others from your hand to the deck whose total levels equal the level of a synchro monster in your extra deck that does not list a synchro monster as part of its synchro material; special summon it, but it cannot attack this turn and its effects are negated until the end of this turn. This is treated as a synchro summon. ATK/50 DEF/1950 Mighty Heralder Of The Evil lv 12 DARK Fiend/Effect "heralder of void" + two non-tuner monsters Your opponent cannot have more than 5 cards in their hand when this card is in the graveyard or removed from play zone. Your opponent cannot control more than 7 cards on the field while this monster is in the graveyard, removed from play zone, or on the field. Once per turn, you can send a "Heralding" spell or trap card from your hand to the deck to add a "heralder" or "Augur" monster to your hand from your deck. If this card attacks, you can send a level 6 or lower monster from your hand; increase this monsters attack equal to the attack of the sent monster. ATK/2800 DEF/1000 Mighty Heralder Of The Righteous lv 12 LIGHT Fairy/Effect "heralder of shine" + two non-tuner monsters You can draw 2 cards per standby phase while this card is in the graveyard or removed from play field. Your hand limit becomes 8 while this card is in the graveyard, removed from play zone, or on the field. Once per turn, you can send a "heralder" or "Augur" monster card from your hand to add a "heralding" spell or trap card to your hand from your deck. If this card is attacked, you can send a level 6 or lower monster from your hand; reduce the attacking monster's ATK equal to the ATK of the monster you sent. ATK/1000 DEF/2800 Mighty Heralder Of The Essence lv 9 EARTH Psychic/Effect "Heralder From The Abyss" + "Heralder From The Shine" + one or more non-tuner monsters During each end phase increase this cards ATK & DEF by 300. You can normal summon 1 extra Fairy, Fiend or Spellcaster monster each turn. During the standby phase, you can discard 2 cards from your hand, then banish 2 cards from the hand; it becomes the end phase. ATK/1900 DEF/1900 Mighty Heralder Of The Spectrum lv 10 EARTH Psychic/Effect/Tuner "Heralder From The Rainbow" + two or more non-tuner monsters with different attributes that aren't LIGHT Cards you control cannot be targeted for attacks or effects by cards your opponent controls with the same Attribute. All monsters you control gain 300 ATK & DEF for each monster you control with a different Attribute. Once per turn, you can special summon a monster in your graveyard or removed from play zone with a different attribute from all monsters you control. If you have more than two or more monsters with the same attribute, you can send one of them to the graveyard or removed from play zone, then send up to 2 monsters your opponent controls with the same attribute to the zone the first monster was sent to. ATK/2000 DEF/2000 Phantasmagoric Heralder From The Outer Realm lv 6 DARK Psychic/Effect/Synchro/Tuner "Heralder From The Ether" + 1 non tuner Fiend, Fairy, or Spellcaster monster Neither player can target this card for an attack or with card effects. Any time a card is sent to the graveyard, that cards controller gains life points equal to its level *200, then draws a card for every third level on that card. Once per turn, during your standby phase, you can reduce the ATK and DEF of a monster on the field by 300 times its level. Once per turn, you can Equip this card to a monster you control, or special summon this card treated as a equip spell. While treated as an equip spell, the equipped monster gains ATK equal to half of this monsters ATK, gains DEF equal to this monsters DEF, and cannot be removed from the field by monsters with the same attribute as the monster this card is equipped to. ATK/1500 DEF/2900 Transfixed Heralder From The Outer Realm Link 3, points downwards & to the sides DARK/Psychic/Effect/Link "Heralder From The Stars" and 1+ effect monsters This card gains effects equal to the amount of link material used for it. If this card is special summoned from the graveyard or removed from play zone, shuffle this card into the extra deck, then both players draw 1 card. 2: Place 1 Starry Counter on a number of monsters on the field equal to the link material used to summon this card. A monster with a Starry counter cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects, but when a attack is declared involving a card with a Starry counter, double the battle damage dealt to that cards controller. 3: Each time a card is sent to the graveyard or banished, gain 200 life points & inflict 200 life points of damage to your opponent. 4: Once per turn, you can place 1 card you control on the top of the deck to target one face-up card your opponent controls with the same Attribute as the card placed on top of your deck; take control of it. 6 or more: This card cannot be removed from the field by monsters with a lower level or rank than the total amount of link material used for this card. ATK/2300 Heralding A Bounty Continuous spell Up to three times per turn, you can select a number between 1 & 3; return that many "Heralder" or "Augur" monsters from your banished pile & graveyard each to your deck and draw that many cards. During each standby phase, return 2 cards from your hand to your deck then shuffle it; if you cannot, destroy this card. When this card is destroyed: destroy the top 2 cards of your deck, then banish the top 2 cards of your deck. Heralding A Union Quick-play spell Target a monster your opponent controls. Equip a monster from your hand to that monster. While equipped with that monster, change control of it, and apply the following effects: ●If that monster is equipped with a "Heralder" monster, its attacks cannot be negated. ●If that monster is equipped with a "Augur" monster, the activation of it effects cannot be negated. ●If that monster is not equipped with a "Heralder" or "Augur" monster, its ATK and DEF are halved. Heralding A Rebirth Normal spell Pay 1500 lifepoints, or place 2 "Heralder" or "Augur" monsters from your hand on the bottom of your deck; select a monster from your graveyard and banished pile. Special summon one of those monsters, and return the other to your deck. Heralding A Restoration Continuous spell Up to three times per turn, during your Main Phase, you can place a card from your graveyard or banished pile to the bottom of your deck, and gain 500 lifepoints. When this card is sent to the graveyard, gain 2000 lifepoints. During the end phase, shuffle 1 card from your field & your hand to your deck. if you cannot do this, banish the top 2 cards of your deck, then discard the bottom 2 cards, then take 1000 life points of damage. Heralding A Rebuilding Normal spell Shuffle any "Herald" and "Augur" monsters in your graveyard & banished pile into your deck, then you can special summon monsters from your hand whose total levels equal the amount of cards shuffled into the deck. Then, if you shuffled more than 12 cards with this effect, gain 100 life points for each card shuffled. Heralding A Defense Counter trap If your opponent would activate a card effect that would destroy any "Heralder" or "Augur" monsters you control, negate that effect & destroy all cards they control on the field & have in their hand of that same card type, and inflict 200 damage for each card sent to the graveyard. Then, apply the following effects in order based on what monster type you control would have been destroyed. ●Synchro: Draw a card for every 500 points of damage your opponent took ●Link: Increase your life points equal to the amount of damage your opponent took ●Tuner: You can search your deck for 2 "Heralder" or "Augur" cards. Send one to the grave, and add the other to your hand. Heralding A Calamity Normal trap If this card was activated during a chain, negate all other card effects. Then, send "Herald" or "Augur" cards from your deck to your graveyard for each card negated. Otherwise, banish 3 cards on your side of the field and 2 your opponent controls. Heralding A Trinity Normal Trap Target a "Heralder" monster in your graveyard, hand, & banished pile. Return them all to your deck. Then, set 3 "Heralding A" spell or trap cards from your deck. You can activate these cards this turn. Heralding A Imbalance Continuous Trap Once per turn, you can discard any number of "Heralder" or "Augur" monsters from your hand to draw cards equal to the amount discarded, then take 200 damage for each card discarded. During your end phase, if you control the same amount of monsters as your opponent, destroy this card and all monsters on the field, then take 800 damage for every 2 cards destroyed by this effect. This effect cannot be negated. Heralding A Sinister Plot Normal Trap Banish up to 3 monsters from your extra deck; banish the same amount from your hand, then destroy double that amount of cards from your opponent field or hand. you must have five cards in your graveyard or removed from play zone to activate this card. Heralding A... Economy? Continuous Trap During your Main Phase, you can: return one card from your hand to the bottom of your deck, then normal summon a "Heralder" or "Augur" monster from your hand.
