The archetype of Light and Dark Monsters, would set-up and support Synchro Summons and Tribute Summons whilst also continuing the idea of using attack points to activate lockdown/field control effects.

EDIT: Consolidated so it is all in the one post. Have rewritten cards based on suggested fixes, and added some new cards, including a 'Side Deck' of ideas I'm not sure on, or just can't get right.

Monsters

Light End Dragon/Assault Mode

10, LIGHT, Dragon, Effect

3100/2600

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned with ‘Assault Mode Activate’ and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card attacks an opponent's monster: You can have this card lose 500 ATK, and if it does, halve the ATK of the monster this card is battling, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to the monster’s Original ATK. If this card on the field is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 ‘Light End Dragon’ from your GY.

Dark End Dragon/Assault Mode

10, DARK, Dragon

3100/2600

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned with "Assault Mode Activate" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn: You can have this card lose 500 ATK, then target 1 monster your opponent controls: Banish that target, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to the banished monster's Level x500.

If this card on the field is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 ‘Dark End Dragon’ from your GY.

Chaos-End Synchronizer

While this card is face-up on the field its Attribute is also treated as DARK.

If this card is sent to the GY for the Synchro Summon of an ‘End Dragon’: You can draw 2 cards. You can target 1 ‘End Dragon’ in your GY; Return it to the Extra Deck, then draw 2 cards. You can only use 1 ‘Chaos-End Synchronizer’ effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Chaos-End Dragon

You can special summon this card from the GY by tributing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK Monster. While on the field this card’s attribute is also treated as LIGHT.

If you declare an attack with this card, the opponent cannot activate card effects until after the Damage Step.

If this card has destroyed an opponent’s monster by battle, you decrease the ATK and DEF of this card by 500 and activate one of these effects:

-It can make a second attack this battle phase

-Banish one card on the opponent’s field

You can only activate one effect of "Chaos-End Dragon" per turn, and only once per turn.

Chaos-End Harbinger

Once per turn you can increase or decrease this card’s level by 1. If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can special summon this card from your hand.

Chaos-End Squire of Light and Dark

While this card is face-up on the field it’s Attribute is also treated as LIGHT. You can discard a card; special summon this card from your hand. If this card left the field because it was Tributed, Return it to the hand at the start of the Main Phase of your next turn.

Chaos-End Apprentice

If a ‘Chaos-End’, ‘End Dragon’ or ‘Light and Dark’ Monster you control destroys an opponent’s card by battle you can special summon this card from your hand. Once per turn discard a Monster card from your hand to change this card’s level to the level of the discarded Monster. This card can be treated as a Tuner Monster for the Synchro Summon of a ‘Chaos-End’, ‘End Dragon’ or ‘Light and Darkness’ Synchro Monster, though it loses 500 ATK points if Synchro Summoned the same turn this card was Special Summoned.

Chaos-End Dragoon

If there is a ‘Chaos-End’ Monster on the field, you can special summon this card from your hand. If summoned this way, treat this card as Level 5. You can only special summon this card once per turn.

If this card is destroyed by battle: this card can equip to 1 Monster you control or 1 Monster your opponent controls.

If equipped to your Monster, increase that Monster’s ATK by 500. Once per turn, decrease the equipped monster’s ATK and DEF by 500, it can negate the activation of one card your opponent controls.

If equipped to your opponent’s Monster, decrease its ATK by 500 and negate its effect.

Chaos-End Knight of the Eclipse

While face-up on the field this card’s Attribute is also LIGHT. Once per turn, you can equip this card with a Monster card from your hand or GY. This card gains the following effects:

-If equipped with a LIGHT Monster, this card can’t be destroyed by battle.

-If equipped with a DARK Monster, this card can’t be targeted by card effects.

You can Tribute this card while equipped with both a LIGHT & DARK Monster; special summon 'Chaos-End Dragon’ from the deck.

Banish this card from the GY to negate the effects of your opponents cards that target your cards on the field

Chaos-End Disciple

If this card is normal summoned, you can switch this card to defense position; set 1 Spell or Trap card from your GY.

If a ‘Chaos-End’, ‘End Dragon’ and ‘Light and Dark’ Monster card activates their effect, increase this card’s ATK and DEF by 500.

This card can attack your opponent directly.

Chaos-End Guardian

While face-up on the field and in the GY this card’s attribute is also DARK.

If this monster is sent from the field to the graveyard, you can search your deck for a LIGHT or DARK Monster, add it to your hand.

You can Banish this card from your GY; Normal Summon a ‘Chaos-End’ Monster, or ‘Light and Darkness Dragon’ ignoring Tribute requirements.

You can not summon any monsters the turn you use this effect, or activate any other effects this turn.

Quick-Play Spell

If a ‘Chaos-End’, ‘Light and Dark’ or ‘End Dragon’ Monster is destroyed and sent to the GY: Banish 1 ‘Light and Darkness Dragon’ from your GY and special summon 1 LIGHT or DARK Dragon Monster from your hand or GY. Once per turn during the End Phase, if this card is in the GY: you can pay 500 Life Points to return a banished ‘Light and Darkness Dragon’ to your hand.

Chaotic Rebirth

Normal Spell

You can only activate one ‘Chaotic Rebirth’ per turn.

Choose one of the following effects:

- Target 1 LIGHT Monster you control and special summon 1 DARK Monster from your GY that is the same level, or lower, as the target monster

- Target 1 DARK Monster you control and special summon 1 LIGHT Monster from your GY that is the same level, or lower, as the target monster

Dragons of the Alpha and Omega

Normal Spell

Target 1 ‘End Dragon’ Monster in your Graveyard. Special Summon that target and 1 ‘End Dragon’ Synchro Monster of a different Attribute from the target from your Extra Deck. Their effects are negated. The ATK and DEF of the target become the total original ATK and DEF (respectively) of the 2 monsters, and the ATK and DEF of all other monsters you control become 0 until the End Phase. Send all monsters Special Summoned by this card's effect to the Graveyard during your opponent's End Phase.

On the Edge of Light and Dark

Quick-Play Spell

Tribute 1 monster from your hand or field; excavate cards from the top of your opponent’s Deck, equal to the Tributed monster’s Level (or their entire Deck, if less than that number), then place them on the top or bottom of their Deck in any order, and if you do, you can negate the effects of 1 face-up card on the field with the same card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap) as the card type of 1 of the excavated cards. At the start of the End Phase of this card's activation, banish this card; activate the appropriate effects based on the attribute(s) of the monster tributed to activate the first effect of this card:

- DARK, destroy one card on the field that the opponent controls.

- LIGHT, decrease the ATK of one monster your opponent controls by half of the tributed Monster's original ATK

Fade to Twilight

Continuous Spell

Once per turn you can discard 1 LIGHT or DARK Monster, add a Monster of the opposing attribute to your hand that is the same level or lower.

During the End Phase: You can target up to 2 of your banished monsters (1 LIGHT and 1 DARK); Shuffle them into the deck. If you activate this effect, send this card to the GY.

Passage of Dawn and Dusk

Normal Spell

Add 1 DARK or LIGHT Monster from your Graveyard to your hand, and if you do, you can send 1 Monster of the opposite attribute from your Deck to your Graveyard. You can only activate 1 ‘Passage of Dawn and Dusk’ per turn.

Chaos-End Nocturne

Normal Spell

Banish 1 Level 5 or higher LIGHT or DARK Monster from your Graveyard; Draw 2 cards. You can banish this card from your Graveyard (except during the turn it was sent to the Graveyard); Special Summon 1 Level 5 or higher LIGHT or DARK Monster from your hand. Its effect(s) are negated this turn. You can only use this effect of "Chaos-End Nocturne" once per turn.

Blade of the Eclipse

Equip this card to a ‘Chaos-End’ Monster you control. Increase its ATK and DEF by 500. When a Monster is destroyed by battle with the Monster equipped with this card, negate its effect in the graveyard.

When a Monster is destroyed while equipped with this card, activate one of the following effects:

-If it was a LIGHT Monster, you draw 1 card

-If it was a DARK Monster, destroy one card the opponent controls

-If it was LIGHT and DARK Monster, destroy the opponent’s Monster that battled with this card and special summon a Level 4 or lower Monster from your GY.

Counter Trap

Activate only when you control 1 ‘Chaos-End’, ‘End Dragon’, and/or ‘Light and Dark’ Monsters. Negate the activation of a card’s effect, or monster summon, and destroy that card, or banish it if the card was activated from the graveyard.

Alignment of Light and Dark

Normal Trap

Activate when a ‘Light and Darkness Dragon’ you control is destroyed. Banish it instead of sending it to the GY and Special Summon 1 ‘Light End Dragon’ and 1 ‘Dark End Dragon’ from your Extra Deck. Treat this summon as a Synchro Summon. You cannot activate the effects of ‘Light End Dragon’ and ‘Dark End Dragon’ the turn they are summoned by this effect. If they leave the field, banish them.

Chaos-End Nightshield

Continuous Trap

Activate only when you control 2 Monsters (1 LIGHT and 1 DARK).

Once per turn, negate a card effect or attack that targets 1 ‘Chaos-End’, ‘End Dragon’ or ‘Light and Dark’ Monster. During each of your End Phases, monsters you control lose 500 ATK and DEF.

Anti-Climatic End

Counter Trap

Activate only when your Life Points would be reduced to 0 by battle. Reduce any damage you take this turn to 0 and end the Battle Phase. All ‘Chaos-End’, ‘End Dragon’ and ‘Light and Darkness Dragon’ Monsters you control are unaffected by card effects until the end phase of your turn.

Twilight Embrace

Continuous Trap

Whenever a LIGHT or DARK Monster loses ATK and/or DEF by an effect, increase your Life Points by that same amount. You can Tribute a Monster on your field to prevent this card being destroyed by your opponent’s effect. If this card is in the GY (except the turn it was sent there): you can banish this card and Halve your Life Points; to set the ATK and DEF of all LIGHT and DARK Monsters you control to their original values.

Silhouette of Dragon Wings

Normal Trap

Pay 1000 Life Points. This turn you can banish Monsters from your hand and/or GY to use them as Tributes for a Tribute Summon, or as Materials for a Synchro Summon. Monsters summoned this turn cannot activate their effects. During either players' turn, If this card is in your GY (except the turn it was sent there): you can banish it and target one ‘Chaos-End’, ‘End Dragon’ or ‘Light and Dark’ Monster; the targeted monster cannot be destroyed this turn.

Your opponent's attacking monster must now attack the tribute summoned monster. This effect can only be activated once per turn.

Activate by targeting 1 monster on the field; if it attacks or its effect is activated, the monster's controller takes damage equal to half that monster's original ATK.

Rift between the Light and Dark

Counter Trap

Activate when a monster you control is targeted by a card effect your opponent controls while you have a LIGHT and a DARK monster in your Graveyard. Remove from play 1 LIGHT or DARK monster from your Graveyard and apply one of the following effects:

-LIGHT - Negate the activation of the opponent's card and destroy it. Then gain 1000 life points.

-DARK - Negate the activation of the opponent's card and destroy it. Then inflict 1000 damage to your opponent's life points.

-LIGHT and DARK - Negate the activation of the opponent’s card and banish it from the field.

Reduce this card’s ATK and DEF by 500 to reduce the ATK of all Monsters your opponent controls to 0 and banish them when destroyed by this card.

Discard 1 LIGHT Monster and 1 DARK Monster to allow this card to attack another Monster your opponent controls.

When this card is destroyed and sent to the GY; if the monsters used to Synchro Summon this card are in the GY, special summon them onto the field and if ‘Light and Darkness Dragon’ is in your hand, as soon as this effect ends, Tribute Summon that Monster.

Normal Spell

Activate only if you control a face-up ‘End Dragon’ Monster. Destroy 1 monster and up to 2 Spell or Trap Cards on the field.

Twilight Mirror

Continuous Trap

This card can only be activated if there are 6 or more LIGHT and DARK monsters in your Graveyard. Halve the ATK of all your opponent's attacking monsters. During your Standby Phases, remove 2 LIGHT or DARK monsters in your Graveyard from play. If you do not, this card is destroyed.

The Pall of Eternal Twilight

Field Spell

Banish 3 monsters from your Graveyard, including a LIGHT- and a DARK-Attribute monster to activate this card. The effects of face-up Non-LIGHT and -DARK monsters cannot be activated. Once per Turn: Banish a monster in your Graveyard; target 1 monster in your opponent`s Graveyard and banish it. While you control a Level 7 or higher LIGHT- or DARK-Attribute monster, if this card is targeted by your opponent`s card effect: You can Shift that targeted effect to another legal target you control. When this card is destroyed: Your opponent selects one of your banished LIGHT- or DARK-Attribute monsters; Return it to the Graveyard.

Quick-Play Spell

Activate only as Chain Link 2 or higher while you control a face-up ‘Light and Darkness Dragon’.

Negate the effect of all cards activated prior to this one and if you do destroy all face-up cards, other than ‘Light and Darkness Dragon’, that are the same Type (Spell, Trap or Monster) as the card(s) negated by this card effect.

Duality

Quick-Play

You can only activate one ‘Duality’ per turn. Pay 500 Life Points to activate.

Tribute 1 LIGHT or DARK Monster to special summon 1 Dragon Monster from your GY, or 1 Dragon Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck (treat this summon as a Synchro Summon) that is of the opposing attribute to the Tributed Monster.

Dark Fire

Quick-Play

Activate only after a ‘Light and Darkness Dragon’ you control has reduced its ATK and DEF and activated its effect. Reduce the ATK and DEF of the ‘Light and Darkness Dragon’ to 0 and negate the effects of all cards your opponent controls on the field.

Deal 500 points of damage for every card negated by this effect.

I don't know if you need to ignore some summoning conditions but this is great as is.

Chaotic End

When your Life Points are lower than your opponents, you can special summon one Monster from your graveyard. Double the attack of the monster. It cannot attack your opponent directly. During your next End Phase after this card was activated, banish (face down?) the Monster summoned by this card’s effect. You can Banish this card from the graveyard; special summon one Monster from your deck or graveyard.

Very powerful, I set the destruction of the first summoned monster earlier and that doesn't do much to limit this very powerful card. Maybe make it a trap and you can only activate 1 effect per turn?

On the Edge of Light and Dark

Quick-Play

Tribute 1 monster from your hand or field; excavate cards from the top of your opponent’s Deck, equal to the Tributed monster’s Level (or their entire Deck, if less than that number), then place them on the top or bottom of their Deck in any order, and if you do, you can negate the effects of 1 face-up card on the field with the same card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap) as the card type of 1 of the excavated cards. At the start of the End Phase of this card's activation, banish this card; activate the appropriate effects based on the attribute(s) of the monster tributed to activate the first effect of this card:

The big change is I made the second effect mandatory the turn you activate this card. It is very versatile and slightly luck dependent.

I should have prefaced I'm new/inexperienced with Card Creation so still trying to familiarise with PSCT and what would be considered 'broken'/'not broken and fair trade off etc. So any help is greatly appreciated.

 

You mentioned not wanting to explain changes. Could you send them to me in a message instead?

For 'Emerging' would it be too much if it was 'Special Summon same level or lower of the opposing attributes'?

i know you concerned about putting the huge number of cards in a single post but its much better you edit them as singular post since posting on multiple replies like this is considered as accidental spam since your thread will "artificially" get put on top of the reviews which sinking other user that wanna post their cards. its also hard to keep track to be reviewed since user have to scroll back and forth to know the interaction of the cards

that being said, within reasonable time you may "bump" your post when you update stuff about them

Please chill, you are making way too many cards. I doubt you intent to make 30+ cards and run 1 of each in a deck, you shouldn't need so many. That, or you intent for players to mix & match them for different builds. Still, I have not read all of them yet, but I can already see some are better than others, and the most situational ones wouldn't see play at all except in casual or funny decks with specific objectives. For example, all those that require you to have a Chaos End or End Dragon monster, or Light & Darkness Dragon in the field or GY.

Ironically, you got some good cards that support the chaos theme in general, and I feel they could break a thing or two. For example, Envoy of the Light and Dark, On the Edge of Light and Dark, Fade to Twilight (assuming it grabs a monster from the Deck), Passage of Dawn and Dusk, and possibly Chaos-End Nocturne.

Lol yeah I admit I did let myself get a little carried away. Just got too many potential ideas and so getting second opinions on what to change and/or cull. It is for a MC in a fanfic so trying to keep within the idea of a Choas-End theme and supporting that (Synchro or Tribute Summons, card negation, atk and def reduction as cost, Light and Dark that aren't strictly within the Chaos theme)

Still very much a WIP

And Dokutah I'll fix it up for future :)

Permanently was implied. This monster can up to 8600 damage optimally if attacking into a monster with 6000ATK, more realistically, 5600 damage vs 4000 original ATK... some cool plays here. I replaced when with if. I'm assuming you wish for this effect to only work on the monster you attack but that wording wasn't on here.

Chaos-End Synchronizer

5, LIGHT, Machine

It's a generic powerful card that would see a lot of play outside this deck

Bumpdated. EDIT: Is there a way to delete any of the earlier posts to try and tidy the thread up a bit?

As I mentioned previously this was what I am thinking atm as a theoretical deck for the MC, based around the Cac Archetype.
