Soul Releasing Mirror

Continuous Trap

Once per turn: You can target 1 non-DIVINE non-Token monster you control; that target's Attribute becomes the opposite. Once per turn, at the start of your Standby Phase: You can target any number of non-Token monsters you control with different Attributes; banish them, and if you do, you can target up to 2 of your banished cards for each card you banished by this effect, and if you do that, return those banished targets to the GY. If this Set card is destroyed by an opponent's card: You can Set 1 "Mirror" card directly from your Deck. If this card is in your GY: You can target 2 "Mirror" cards in your GY; banish them, and if you do, Set this card.

the mirrors, dream mirrors, mirror force you name it. Could use some wording fixes the banished cards you target can be face down or face up but only a total equal to the number of monsters banished. I think this is good but looking for feedback. Looking at you @Rayfield Lumina

Once per turn, at the start of your Standby Phase: You can target any number of non-Token monsters you control with different Attributes; banish them, and if you do, you can target up to 2 of your banished cards (except cards banished by this effect) for each card you banished by this effect , and if you do that, return those banished targets to the GY. Mmm... I have a feeling this is kinda sloppy still, but fixes a couple of issues, and also takes a couple of risks because I'm unsure what is the original intention.

Firstly, you needn't the "during either player's turn". It was a good catch, not using (Quick Effect), because that's restricted to mons, but as this is a Trap Card, its inherent Spell Speed 2 effect allows you to activate the effect during either player's turn, making the wording redundant. During either player's turn is a cool way to use fast effects in Spell Speed 1 Effects such as Continuous Spells, tho.

About the first bold part, this is just my own thinking: You're banishing cards as cost to apply the effect, so I felt it fair that you cannot return those same with the same effect. I'm not 100% sure if it could be done, because it's possible they're not targetable until the effect resolves completely, but rn I'm inclined to think they're targetable due to the "and if you do" conjunction, which dictates the order in which stuff happens and the requirement (A to do B). Since you supposedly did A, the cost of A is already banished and would be targetable... perhaps xD.

Second part in bold, "directly from your Deck", is just an assumption. The original doesn't specify where the Mirror card is Set from, so I imagine it's from the Deck. If not, just add/replace the correct places.

About the effect: Welp, I like it. Evidently, this card works wonders paired with Rainbow-Imprisoning Mirror, because if you have this card activated first, you can alter a mons Attribute right away without requiring RIM's self set effect. The cycle it provokes, banishing stuff to add stuff to GY is pretty brutal, and not few decks would probably like it. Being able to support the cards and archetypes you mention is just the icing on the cake (Mirror of the Ice Barrier, Aquamirror Cycle also come to mind. Heck even random stuff like Resonator Mirror, Galaxy Mirror Sage, Performapal Mirror Conductor and hell knows what else lol)

Ahhh sorry!

I originally had it as a continuous spell and forgot to change the wording thanks.

I intended for them to be targetable because you are still banishing cards you control so if you want them in the GY instead of banished that is just less targets you can pick from, but I see the possible concerns that may arrive ... hmmmm.

Absolutely thanks.

I may change it to be a " mirror " card because  Aquamirror Cycle shouldn't be a target but based on my current wording I don't think it would be anyway.
