Okay, I appreciate having a new insect archetype to play around with, but how do they miss such obvious flavor additions?

1. Why isn't the trap called "float and sting"? You know: "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee"? I mean, c'mon the picture even implies it!

2. Lancer doesn't have a piercing effect. The dude's got 2 lances for arms and a stone-wrecking abdomen, and they don't give it piercing.

...I don't know why this worked me up so much. Maybe I need a nap.

These guys are pretty open ended which makes me guessing konami probs think in a partial self-awareness that the will eventually players came up with other half of the starter. To be fair its brand new and not whole lot of cards

Bomber is eh....bit situational but decent extender. Lancer helps you to recover from handtrap with added search bonus though horrible going first. Armor uses is to get Atlas ASAP...and speaking of atlas, ts almost amazing tbh sure 3000 with immunities is good but given restriction, xenophobia bit, and severe kind of -1 cost via tribute. I think i could be safe to make that last effect a quick. Formation is legit amazing though. Fly and Sting is is quite decent having negation to popular card type that recurr with Atlas albeit a little slow

I appreciate it greatly that this is an insect archetype that actually has insect artwork in it (stares back at Inzektors).
It has a few nice toys that can be tested with it. Resonance Insect, Primitive Butterfly, Infernity Beetle, the Gokibore cards, the Weebil suport (Cocoon of Ultra Evolution and Parasites). I'll definitely will be trying them out. Cool thing that their Link 3 is basically like a Link 1 with proper setup thanks to their lower Link.

Hmm actually, I've never read the Wasp cards from Arc V, maybe there's something generic there to work with too.

From the artwork of the first two it looked to me like the lower bodies of the riders were the insects, which I found bizzare and gave me vibes of the Beast pirates from One Piece, but Armor Horn cleared things for me.

Overall looks like a good start for a potentially meta archetype, IMO. Bomber is an extender or you can leave it on board for the pop disruption, Lancer disrupts the GY and gives you a 2400-ATK body on board, although it needs GY setup, the Link 4 is an pseudo-Towers with OTK potential for finishing games, and the Counter Trap is a recurring monster effect negator. Formation is a welcomed OPT Reborn, but naturally you can't use it too much due to the LP costs. Then again, duels don't last as long anymore AFAIK so if you need to use it, let's say 3 times, you should either win or lose at that point.

Multiplication of Ant's would be a good card for this deck as it doubles up on your Insect monsters you have more to cover cost of your other Beetrooper Monsters. Specially if you Summon Scout Buggy which gets another from Deck and use this to make the free Scout into 2 Tokens.

Even Battlewasp - Pin the Bullseye is a free summon for Insect Decks with the addition of dealing 200 damage in your middle of your combo's.
