Thomas★Zero
Beetrooper Scout Buggy lv 3 WIND Insect/Effect You cannot Special Summon monsters, except Insect monsters. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Beetrooper Scout Buggy" from your hand, Deck or GY. You can only use this effect of "Beetrooper Scout Buggy" once per turn. ATK/1000 DEF/300 So a 1 card Link 2/Rank 3 for Insect Decks... ...okay then.
Tinkerer
It's nice that you only ever need to run 2 in a deck since it can grab another from basically anywhere. Since it triggers on special, you can just keep bringing it back on follow-up turns to use it again. Once it's used as Material, you are unlocked from insects again and you could probably also do some silly things by giving this to an opponent, but I can't say the card is all that groundbreaking imo. Sleepy
Oh wait so, the old way of doing sneak peek events is coming back? I recall they ditched the "get a promo card and 5 packs + a chance to get a playmat" and were more like "buy a box, get a field center, and there's a chance to get a promo card, and might or might not have mats at all". Which is alright if you are one of those people that buy by the box or case, but in the grand scheme of things it looks like it had less giveaway value overall and a higher barrier of entry (which the change happened because most attendees were the "buy big" types anyways, but the small option at least was there). The card itself sounds pretty decent. I don't particularly love cards that demand other copies of themselves to work as a concept (I'm more of a fan of "can I use this highlander style?") but for what it is, it is a pretty solid 2 materials for huh, well... the bug restriction makes it not generic. Still, I appreciate that if nothing else, you can Tribute Summon fairly well there. I'd still run it at 3 because stuff like D.D. Crow is not too uncommon and one wants the card to not be dead on the first disruption... plus a second use further thinning the deck (but not having to specifically do it to remain live).....
