ClemsContent
Irish mythological cycle continued. After the people of Cessair fizzled out, the next people to have a go at settling in Ireland (in myths at least) were the people of Partholón. According to different accounts, Partholón could have come from Iberia or Greece. Either way, they lasted longer than the people of Cessair, built something of a civilization, and even fended off the pesky descendants of those Seafoam Giants from earlier (who by then were living as a feral tribe called the "Fomorians", under the command of a king of their own called "Cichol Gricenchos"). Lakes suddenly started spontaneously appearing in random places around this time. But Partholón's people weren't well-prepared for plague season, and they were all wiped out in a week when the disease started to spread. Fortunately, Partholón's own son, "Tuan mac Cairill", had the good fortune to be reincarnated with all of his memories a bunch of times, and the history of his people was preserved through him. Eventually, he was reincarnated as the son of an Irish chieftain after a couple of thousand years, and was said to have been converted by St. Patrick himself. Loleo
Partholón- boost by targeting a card in either player's GY. Cichol Gricenchos- Great first attempt! Materials 2+ fiend and what are the link arrows? "Level 5 or lower monsters cannot be destroyed by battle with this card" whatever you meant for this section maybe it would sound a little better to say something like "This card can't be destroyed by battle except by monsters that are level 6 or higher". This would also give it immunity to battle by link and XYZ. Lastly is the ATK gain temporary? I don't know what the proper wording is if it was or wasn't. (I'm assuming it is in fact temporary) Fomorian Sorcerer- I think I didn't understand something about Chichol. With an exception of the summon of a card, this is almost more powerful than the link. Lake Burst- love the flood gate. Week of Plague- weak extremely weak. Barely classifies as Warrior anti-support. (sorry if this sounds harsh) To make this any good make it activatable whenever (like make it a quick play spell) and make your opponent take all the damage. Tuan mac Cairill- SO USEFUL in so many decks. First that comes to mind is heroes.
ClemsContent
@ITSUKOSOADO Updated Partholón to target cards in either GY. For Cichol Gricenchos, I've gone for SW/SE Link arrows, if that works ok? I'm quite new to that whole mechanic in general, and it probably shows haha. With the effect, I'm trying to make Cichol Gricenchos being able to deal some pretty good battle damage to lower Level grunts, but not actually destroy them in battle. I could probably add in a piercing damage effect to make the most of that. But I'm unsure of how to word the effect to prevent it from destroying the monsters it battles with. The ATK increase would be only be until the End Phase. Fomorian Sorcerer should, more or less, be a somewhat weaker, non-Link version of Cichol Gricenchos. Might it work better as a LINK monster as well? But I'm struggling to find the right wording for the effect. I would keep Week of Plague as a trap, so that it combines with Partholón's effect, to deal an extra 1000 damage. But I will make it inflict all the damage to the opponent, and up the multiplier to x300. 3 copies of Partholón destroyed by that effect could nearly wipe a player out in 1 turn that way. Loleo
Last question is Chichol meant to be a link 2 (which should require exactly 2 materials or 1+ of something and have 2 arrows) or a link 3 (which should have 3 arrows should require 1+, 2+, or exactly 3 materials) Again it came out great for a first attempt. ClemsContent
It should be a be a Link 3. My bad lol; should have 3 arrows. Maybe W, E and SE, since it's ATK isn't super high for a Link 3. Would 1+ Monsters including at least 1 Fiend work as a Link recipe for that card?
