ClemsContent
Continuing in our Celtic Mythology series, we're onto the part where the first people arrive in Ireland. These were, according to myth, the people of Cessair, who the Catholic church decided was a descendent of the Biblical Noah, and that their journey to Ireland would have been to escape the flood. Cessair's people were said to have got to Ireland by following the advice of an idol, but only one of the boats with Cessair's people made it, and the others were forever lost. The only surviving boat had very few men, and unable to handle the responsibility of looking after so many women on his own, a figure named Fintan mac Bóchra transformed himself into a salmon, using magic. Fintan mac Bóchra travelled around the world in various animal forms, gathering knowledge across thousands of years, and eventually returned to Ireland to serve as an advisor to a later tribe called the "Fir Bolg". Loleo
Cessair's Idol is a +2 if you draw all spell traps on your turn, otherwise random special summon. This is amazing. Th biggest risk is using it on your opponent's turn to survive but not drawing any monsters. Fintan is good battle protection and a nice floodgate. Pommelo
I'm truly happy that you're trying to implement the grammar tips I've been giving you, @ClemsContent. PSCT is a complex thing indeed xD. Y'know, beyond the colon and semicolon, there also exist the conjunctions, such as and, also, also, after that, then, and if you do, etc. Welp, it's hard to explain, so let's try with the actual wording. Quote Cessair's Idol Activate only if you have no cards in your hand. Draw 3 cards, and if you do, you can Special Summon 1 monster among those cards in face-up Defense Position, and if you do that, banish all cards in your hand. During the End phase, if you didn't Special Summon a monster by this card's effect: Shuffle all cards in your hand into the Deck. Quote Fintan mac Bóchra Your opponent cannot Set cards. If this card is targeted by a card effect: Negate the effect, and if you do, shuffle this card into the Deck. If this card is targeted for an attack: Negate the attack, and if you do, return this card to your hand. During your opponent's Battle Phase, if your opponent controls more monsters than you do: You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) in face-up Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Fintam mac Bóchra" once per turn. Remember this: Anything before Colon is Activation Condition or Timing. Before semi-colons, you'll find targets or costs. Having said that, effects have sequences. Colons and semicolons do not exactly work like, you have 1 effect, so you type the first part, colon, second part, semi-colon, third part . Often, the last parts of the effects are sequential to the first part, in other words, they're part of the same effect and thus aren't separated by the semicolon, but linked by a conjunction. Ugh, I'm not the best to explain this kind of thing, what I want to say is that you're doing a good work and learning, but there are some details left to improve (much like me, I'm no super expert). Most of the time, after you do something, if after completing that part there's something else to do, you use a conjunction. Once per turn: You can target 1 card in the GY; Special Summon it, and if you do, discard 1 card. If this card is Normal Summoned: You can send 1 card from your Deck to the GY, then, if your opponent controls more cards than you do, you can target 1 card your opponent controls, and if you do that, destroy that target. (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 of your banished monsters; this card gains ATK equal to half the ATK of that target, also this card becomes the same Attribute as that target.
