EksDee
Okay, i'm trying to make a trap card that allows you to activate a spell card from your hand. Currently, the text is "When this trap card is activated, you may play one spell card from your hand. If you discard a card from your hand to the graveyard, that spell card cannot be countered, chained or negated." However, it doesn't sound right to me, because it doesn't state that this trap allows you to discard a card. How should it be worded to be clear that the intended effect is to play one spell card, with the option of discarding once card to protect that spell card? Link to comment
Dark_Pride
Suggestion: Winds of Magic[Normal Trap]Discard 1 card from your hand. Select 1 Normal Spell Card from your hand and activate it. The activation and the effect of the selected Spell Card cannot be chained. You may have asked why Normal Spells only. Well, it's because it's important to limit the effect of a card sometimes to avoid being broken and it's much better that way. Link to comment
EksDee
I can see how that'd be important. Must admit I don't use continuous or field types that often. Do you think it'd be too much to make it a normal or quick-play spell card? Link to comment
