Liji
Menacing Serpent WATER 1 Reptile/ effect If this card is sent to the GY; You can special summon 1 "Sinister serpent" that is banished or in your hand, also banish 1 "Sinister serpent" from your GY during your opponents next End phase. This cards name becomes "Sinister serpent" while in the GY or face-up banished. 300/ 250 Pot of serpents Normal spell card You can activate this card during the draw phase, instead of conducting your normal draw: send up to 2 level 1 WATER Reptile monsters from your deck to the GY, also banish 1 "Sinister serpent" from your GY during your opponents next end phase. Sleepy
I suggest the cards to instead work with any WATER Reptiles regardless of Level, since it is actually a pretty rare combination as it is. Just checked the database and there's 33 WATER Reptiles in the game. Some Aliens, the Gagagigos (one of which is an effect-less Xyz), and a few interesting misfits like Yamorimori, the Oshaleons, Reptiliane Gardna, Screech.... Actually, thanks for pointing out a very underused combination xD I mainly really wanna dump Yamorimori in this strategy but it is a Level 2. Snake Rain makes things pretty good as well as Offering to the Snake Deity. - - - - Other than that, I think the spell is a bit too harsh, skipping the Draw Phase and still banishing the serpent as if it had come out from its own effect..... I think you can get away with doing neither of those things. Just having to be your Draw Phase (maybe before you draw) is more than enough cost. The banishing bit you could make it optional, but immediate, because you wanna setup your serpent and I noticed some of your support (I think the first card) can grab it while banished... so it'd be your cards supporting your other cards. What do you think? It'd look something like this:Pot of Serpents [Quick-Play Spell] During your Draw Phase (before you draw): You can send up to 2 WATER Reptile monsters from your Deck to the GY. Then, you can banish 1 WATER Reptile in your GY.
