ok its very good for a first but heres what you should do next...

Move the head more towards the body then use perspective tool to turn it a little and then go all pixely and edit a little so it looks smoother.

I don't know how to use GIMP, so I used Paint.

For your first, its pretty good. Alot of begginer pokemon splices are really crap, but thats ok.
