Yugo1
My friend wants to make a deck but he doesn't know where to start and I'm not sure how to help him either. Anybody wanna help me? What decks to buy, etc.? Thanks in advance!
The Dark One
Buy 3 copies of SDDE, 3 copies of the Fire deck, and 1 copy of the water deck. Then make a Macro Monarchs deck.
Yugo1
thank you, and staaarrrrrrcrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaafttttt
Phantom Roxas
Also, ask him what his favorite Deck Type is. I'd recommend something that would counter(Or at least attempt to) DAD.
Abstract [Atrocity]
3 SDDE is good enough; don't but the fire & water just for the monarchs. I'd use the structures you've already got and trade off the extra scout planes / DDM's / Bazoo's / banishers / Survivors for common Mobe's / Thestys. Try ang get raiza, and if not then Zaborgs or Jinzo.
The Dark One
Zaborg is unneeded, Caius covers that front. But yes, you need to get 1 Mobius, and as many Thestalos as possible. Also, Raiza is great, if you can get your hands on one. If your friend has a Jinzo, use it.
caiustheshawdowmonarch
Don't bother with the removal their dead, u can only have one return. I recommend the gravekeepers spy and mystic tomato search engine. [/u]P
HORUS
You only need 3 SDDE. And Raiza, Mirror Force, Torrential Tribute.
「tea.leaf」
You know, you'd have ma much easier job if this were in OCG. 3 SD14 will have you covered for sure.

CoryMassacre
Tell him to get Rise of the Dragon Lords and Dragons Roar (if you can find them) and to mix and match the cards from those respective structer decks.
Mr. Judgment Dragon
The Monarch Strategy is better. All Id have to buy is 2 Blaze of Destruction decks, 1 Fury from the deep deck and 2 Dark Emperor decks. Thanks for that. Now I can build a cheap Macro Monarch deck. Yugo1
Hey man, thanks a lot. I really appreciate it. My friend's actually considering something along the lines of rise of the dragon lords and building off of that. I, myself, bought 3 DE's and am working towards a Macro Monarch deck so thanks Dark One.
The Dark One
Sure, no problem. If you have any other questions, just post 'em up.
Yugo1
You think throwing in a Morphing Jar is ok? Also, I have Sak Armors, bottomless trap holes, brain control. I'm just wondering because I have a bunch of cards I thought would be good. Basically, are there other cards I should look for or if I have, put them in as replacements?
The Dark One
Morphing Jar is a generally awesome card. Don't use Sakuretsu. Bottomless isn't bad, but you could probably devote the deck space to better use. Brain Control is great (though Enemy Controller has good synergy with Macro). Also, basic tech cards are always an option. Phoenix Wing Wind Blast and the like.
Yugo1
Ok, cool. I'll keep that in mind. At the moment, I'm still working on getting some cards in the above deck. Mostly the expensive ones. Burns a hole in the pocket, unfortunately.

Online can be fun, but it just isn't quite the same as playing IRL.
Yugo1
Yeah, the online play is boring to me. Not authentic at all. But hey, if everything was cheap then everybody would have the best of the best and well that wouldn't be so fun haha
