HQCardmaker
Decided to try my hand at making a realistic card. Any critique is most welcome. Reaction to Reactions Trap Count the total number of Trap Cards in your GY apart from any card by the name of this card with the exception that if you count past 3, start at 1 again but keep going through the list normally otherwise. Activate a numbered effect below based on that number. (1) If possible, Target and send a monster on your opponent's side of the Field to the GY. (2) Target and Banish a card in your opponent's hand. (3) Banish the top card of your opponent's Deck. You can only activate that effect of "Reaction to Reactions" once this Duel and otherwise the effect becomes "Send the top card of your opponent's Deck to the GY." If your count is 0, treat this as a Continuous Trap that activates each effect as the count increases till that count hits 3, and once the count is 3 and the final numbered effect resolves: Banish this card face-down. Sleepy
This is ummm.... such a weird concept. Ok so if I got it right it is essentially....Count the number of Traps in your GY other than "Reaction to Reactions" and use an effect based on the result. ● 0. This card becomes a Continuous Trap, and you use each of the following effects in sequence each time a Trap other than "Reaction to Reactions" is sent to your GY, but banish this card face-down when the last effect resolves. ● Mulitple of 3, -2: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; send it to the GY. ●Multiple of 3, -1: Banish 1 card from your opponent's hand. ● Multiple of 3: Banish the top card of your opponent's Deck. If you have used this effect before in his Duel, send it to the GY instead. - - - - - I dig the concept that you get to enjoy all the effects under that specific condition where you have to run a Trap-feeing engine for the GY yet need to put this card in motion before any of those touch the GY. It's a very niche use but I think is a very good reward, and it becoming Continuous also means the effects are now susceptible to removal to make them fizzle. non-destroying removal and a discard effect that's not necessarily randomized are both pretty solid effects for this, and odds are you'll be in full knowledge of which one is gonna be live from the moment you activate the card. The last effect is the one that's a bit on the weaker end. It really falls behind the others by not being any advantage or control benefit like the others are, although I suppose that is fine. It's not like any of these 3 effects is harder to make live than the others anyways so all in all I think the card sounds pretty good. I can see a very Trap-intensive deck including this card. "Trap Trick", "Lilith Lady of Lament", "Redeemable Jar', some Paleozoic cards, the self-moving Traps ("Lost Wind", "Breakthrough Skill", "Rise to Full Height", etc.). There's a bunch of tools to make sure you get what you want to get.
Loleo
This is so cool! I don't think you need to limit the card with: You can only activate that effect of "Reaction to Reactions" once this Duel and otherwise the effect becomes "Send the top card of your opponent's Deck to the GY." I feel the wording could be better but your ideas are so unique they are hard to simplify. Balance wise, I feel this is a unique and appropriate support for using traps.
