Some of these are interesting, the rest are War Rocks. 😆

I jest.  That Level 7 War Rock monster seems at least capable of pushing for game, and some of those Spells and Traps are decent, but the core idea of the deck is still trash and this stuff hardly makes them better in any significant way.

I think the ones that interest me the most are the Warrior version Fish Depth Charge, Terrors of the Underroot, and that new Rank 4.  The first one isn't going to change anything, but it's still kinda cool to see them recycle type support cards to support another type (I particularly love the lore implications of the card; it means Warrior Dai Grepher must have at least known Marauding Captain).

I could totally see Terrors being used as some out of the box sidedeck tech that ends up being a clutch high-level choice.  Screwing with a player's GY and banished cards at the same time sounds really good on paper, but I wonder how practically usable it will be?

The Rank 4 is just really cool, even if its not that great.  It seems like a card that is meant to punish overextension, but it's only ever likely to get its first and second effects (making it a 3k untargetable beater).  I feel like Exciton is still better in terms of pure punishment and most things that would counter Exciton can also counter Pendransaction.  I suppose Pendransaction can get its first two effects if the opponent uses Extravagance or Prosperity, but you can't rely on your opponent to do that.  Even if you could, your monster is mostly passive and battle focused.  On the other hand... big computer whale. 🐳

Proof: monarch support :3

Thron: A little weak? Shouldn't he do more than just summon his self? The stats are mediocre which hurt him even more!

Pendran: Balanced, could be stronger, but I would definitely side in some decks as is.

Dai: Better than Raigeki Break definitely balanced.

Terrors: very niche but potentially powerful.

Wento: Well done. War rocks are now more viable.

Mammud: They need more backrow removal, nice!

Mete: a hunky wall and powerful attacker. Nice Ooga Booga monke vibes.

Dignity: Kinda ironically undignified low key. Omni negate only slightly situational no cost.

Spirit: Again ironically defense is normally the better option.

Big blow: *bonk* ... nice again!

Generatios: Tribe leader protec ultimate cool edgy hero.

Are these official cards? The PSCT on them is amazing.

I AM AN IDIOT "These are collated from all the YT box openings of LIOV"

1 hour ago, StupidFox said:

A slow gimmicky card is better then "ha ha several restrictions go brrrr"

you realize those restriction not really hinder the popular Tribute Summon based deck right? the only real restriction on that card is its typing

take True Draco for example, they dont special summon except during opponent turn using their trap which as much of the value as that is rarely go off so you can use Pruflas along with the usual True Draco combo

Monarch also has no problem running this since the special summon restriction only apply for the rest of the turn NOT entire turn, so you can still special summon vassal as usual and then if you greed for unbreakable board you can then summon pruflas as your last special summon

the only thing treeborn had over this is giving players advantage to keep tempo and even then its still garbage since the 2 deck i mention (which is has its lengthy moments in meta) has heavy use of spell/trap as part of the speedy setup for their full board and treeborn simply cannot catch up to that speed
