Scout plane extravaganza!

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I've been working with some random deck ideas and I think I may have really struck gold here if I can pull it off right. However, there seem to be a few things that I can't exactly work out. First of all, the main idea of this deck is to sink the scout planes as soon as possible, then use strike ninja's effect to remove them during my opponent's turn for tribute fodder when it comes back to my turn (or to remove them to use with enemy controller on my turn). I'd like to think that I need more big monsters to use this tribute fodder with, but I dunno. Any advice is appreciated.

Here's the breakdown:

Big Monsters: 10

3x Caius the Shadow Monarch

1x Darklord Zerato

1x D-Hero Plasma

2x D-Hero Dasher

1x DMoC

1x Jinzo

2x D-Hero Malicious

Small Monsters: 10

2x Strike Ninja

1x D-Hero Fear Monger

3x D.D. Scout Plane

2x Armageddon Knight

1x Stratos

1x D-Hero Disk Commander

Spells: 16

1x Premature Burial

1x Reborn

1x Swords of Revealing Light

1x Trunade

3x Destiny Draw

3x Enemy Controller

2x Allure of Darkness

2x Reinforcement of the Army

1x Heavy Storm

+1x Foolish Burial

Traps: 4

3x Solemn Judgment

1x Mirror Force

Scout Planes are good' date=' but you need a Macro Cosmos deck.

+3 Dimensional Fissure

+2 Macro Cosmos

Strike Ninja is far too slow, don't bother with him.

Slow by what standards? Slow like he can't initiate an OTK, I don't understand how he's slow. Please explain.

Also I didn't really want to go straight up RFG theme. Those kind of decks annoy me, I just want a creative way to play darks without going DAD or another freaking netdeck.

And about the big monsters comment- that's one thing I'm iffy on too. I mean, in practice hands I seem to be alright, there never seems to be a problem having a tribute or 2 on the field, but maybe I haven't tried it enough yet.

Scout Planes should only be used in RFG decks. Survivors would do a better job than Planes except they wont come back with Allure.

I agree. Survivors are better. Scout planes in my opinion are too vulnerable. Also Macro + D. Fissure.

Actually I totally missed the Strike Ninjas, so disregard my earlier comment. Maybe Torrential Tribute?
