so yeah, i have a question that i was wondering

 

do the pm's that members sent

or actually more correctly

can the pm's the members send, be read by super mods.mods/YCMaker?

 

i was just wondering, becuase i know some places do that, and since this is a internet thing, i thought that they to be filtered or something like that lol =/ :?

I don't think that mods can (even super mods) as I haven't seen that option anywhere. I do not know' date=' however, if YCMaker can or cannot, though I would most likely guess that he can since he is the admin of the site.

however, i would like to atleast have the respect of knowing that my pm's were being read

if at all, that was true.

My forum has this option but the only time I ever use it is when someone PMs me a quoted complaint about some kind of violation. I can then use the system to verify the complaint before dishing out the proper punishment for the particular violation. As "big brother" as the concept sounds...it's pretty much impossible to have the time to read through all PMs just for the sake of spying on people. If I did that then I would never have time for anything else. So if the system exists on this particular forum(don't know) then I would have to believe that it's only used in the fashion I described above...if at all. ;)

lol no it just got me thinking

the whole situation with jerryfreelance, and recent banned members, whoms names arent going to be mentioned

and how they might have like preversed through pm's and such, which is why i was wondering lol ^_^ =/
