Hey everyone, I've decided to do a series of retrains where I update previously bad cards and improve on them. Todays card is Worm Jetelikpse. 

Worm Jetelikpse

[Reptile/Flip/Effect] Level 3 LIGHT 

If this card is sent to the GY by a card effect, you can special summon any ''Worm Jetelikpse(s)'' from your deck. Banish them when they leave the field. You can only activate the effect of ''Worm Jetelikpse'' once per turn.

ATK/1200 DEF/0

Wait, does this one still have a flip effect?

I'm guessing you're supposed to combo this with something like Snake Rain, Abhyss Nihil, Polymerization, etc. In that case, it's pretty solid.  It's a pretty solid Rank 3/Link-2 engine.  That said, I have to say, I can't really see this retrain helping out Worms all that much.

Thanks very much, I'm planning on doing more Worm Errata's. No this monster no longer has a flip effect. Did you check out the other ones? Don't you think it would make for good tribute fodder?

I guess it depends on how far you're planning to go to "modernize" the cards.

If the big cards could Special Summon themselves by tributing monsters (instead of tribute summoning), then I can see this being a good way to get material out on the board for the bigger Worms.  This card + retrained Prince would work together pretty well to swarm the opponent, but overall, Worms still need stronger payoffs.
