Instead of going outside' date=' I was playing with my Yu-Gi-Oh cards (don't take this the wrong way) and then I realized that I was bored of the same old boring existing cards. So... I was searching the internet for a site on how I could make my own Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Finally, after a bit of searching, I came across this nice website called yugiohcardmaker.net. I spent about 30 minutes or so making my own cards and I had a blast! I went on this site each day. Then, probably a week later, I saw that this wasn't just a Card Maker, but it was also a Forum in which people could share their creations with people from all over the Globe and also talk about everything associated with the game. I decided to join and to post my creations. Back then, I was a newb and everybody who saw my creations were very judgmental towards them. But, they weren't in a bad way. they gave me the help I needed to make cards like I try today and each member I've given help to have also themselves made me learn a bit about card making! To this day, I try my best to help people with their Card Making and try to make them follow the path I took to become a great maker of cards. I look forward to staying on this forum as long as I share my love and passion of Yu-Gi-Oh cards like everybody on this site does. The mods have helped me as well in some ways and they've all been keeping the site running smoothly since I've been here. To everybody I've met on this forum, I say thanks. So basically, I discovered YCM by accident but it turned out not to be such an accident at all. [b']Tomorrow marks my 1-year anniversary on YCM! It was a hot day in the dessert og the sahara..I was starving, from being at the dessert for 10 years...Then i found this guy named FrankHe told me the only way to survive was bu the heart of the cards..I told him i did not have any cards with me..He told me to go to the farest village at the east, then to stealtheir laptops and go to the site called ******cardmaker.netThen i go to that village, but they put me in their jails.I was there for other 10 years. Suddenly one day, Bush jstu decided to throw up a bomb... and he threw it in that camp.. I didin't got affected by the bomb, so i was safeI got their laptops. But there was something wrongI have forgotten the site..Then i spend other 10 years looking for Frank, then..I died.. I became a spirit at the limbolooking for someone to tell me that siteSo, 10 years later, i found the spirit of Pikachu..He told me he was made at the site called Yugiohcardmaker.netBut there was another problem.. The Slime Lord Posted May 13, 2008 Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 This is how my story goes... It was either January or February of 2007. (Most likely the end of January). There was snow day, so we didn't have to go to school (yay ^_^). After quitting Yugioh for about a year or so, my brother had gotten back into it. He decided to bring his cards over to HORUS' house so they could duel and stuff. This happened pretty early in the morning. Well at least for me. It must have happened before I woke up at around 10 AM or whatever. I asked my mom where my brother had gone, and she said he went to HORUS' house to play Yugioh and stuff. I was like, meh, I haven't played that in a while. What the heck..., so I grabbed my old and crappy Light Attribute Deck that I used in Traditional and decided to go over and duel and stuff. While I was walking over to HORUS' house, my brother called me and told me they found a site where they could make cards (yeah, YCM). I thought that was kind of cool, so I decided to run over (and slipped on ice in front of a bunch of people :P). After I got to his house, we made a bunch of overpowered and crappy cards for the rest of the day. We also dueled with them. The cards we made were pretty game breaking and broken, but we still had a good time anyway. It wasn't until later that HORUS said that there was also a forum for the card maker. He said he was going to join it. I was just, "yeah, cool, whatever. I might join sometime...". After many of HORUS' attempts to get me to join the forum, I did. (My brother did too as President Lord of Weenies, but he doesn't really matter). I believe it was the day before Easter I joined. It was right before we watched a movie, so I couldn't start posting immediately. Yeah, and once I started posting and stuff, the rest is history.
