Veteran Maker Organization ~ CLOSED due to lack of online time

[align=center]As of Shini's departure from YCM, I will now take over the thread. I will now be the one keepin track of the Organization.

Have you ever posted a card that is pretty good, but almost no one replies to your thread? How about a new Card Concept you would like people to critique, but your replies never go above 10? And some of the replies are yours? Maybe not even cards, maybe even a Graphic you've made that you want people to comment on. If you have had this happen to you, this is the club for you.

Nowadays people only check out "Popular" Members material that they post, and some of us feel left out. We could be popular too, but just don't have the time to be spending on the Computer to make it happen, or for other reasons. Maybe some of us are just lazy and don't want to dedicate our time to the Computer just to be popular. And then most of us have lives.

-Now while your reading this, your wondering "What exactly is Dark Shini trying to accomplish with this club?" Well, here is what the VMO is all about:

VMO's Goals:

-Get All VMO's into the spotlight of YCM.

-Help make each other better Card Makers, Graphics Makers, and overall Members.

Pretty Simple right? Well, now your thinking, "How exactly is the VMO going to accomplish this?"

Steps to VMO's Goals:

Step 1: Posting your Thread

VMO Members post a link to a thread with their Cards or Graphics on it.

Step 2: Replying to Threads

VMO Members will search through this thread for other Members

Step 3: EXP Points

For every time you post in another VMO Member's thread, you get EXP Points. You must post a link showing your post for credit. And I will grade how much EXP you get for the detail in the Reply.

Step 4: EXP pays off

The higher your EXP Points, the more power and oppurtunity you will have in the group.

-Must have 4 or More Stars

or

-Must have a good reputation built in YCM

You can increase your ranking by the number of Points you have.

0-15 EXP = Regular

16-30 EXP = Veteran

31-45 EXP = Hero

46+ EXP = Masters

Darth Browarod - VMO Regular / 3 EXP

God Splice - VMO VETERAN / 18 EXP

Uchiha In Flames - VMO Regular / 1 EXP

Ultimateryan - VMO Regular / 1 EXP

God GAK - VMO Regular / 5 EXP

Elsandero - VMO Regular / 1 EXP

Bloodrun - VMO Regular / 11 EXP

JerryFreelance - VMO Regular / 1 EXP

Azmania2260 - VMO Regular / 1 EXP

Mew 101 - VMO Regular / 1 EXP

Death Reborn - VMO Regular / 1 EXP

Kid - VMO Regular / 1 EXP

Enigma Zero - VMO HERO / 32 EXP

Ranks, Info and Responsibilities:

Newb (Only if you have less than 4 stars)

- Get 1 EXP for every post in threads

- Must remind members with least EXP to be more active

- Must have Team Banner in their Sig, or they are expelled.

Regular

- Get 1 EXP for every post in threads

- Get 1 EXP if they put the VMO Banner in their Sig

- In Organization Votes/Polls, Decisions, etc. They have 1 Vote.

- Can Spend 1-2 EXP per day.

Veteran

- Get 2 EXP for every post in threads

- Get 1 EXP if they put the VMO Banner in their Sig

- In Organization Votes/Polls, Decisions, etc. They have 1 Vote.

- Can Spend 2-3 EXP per day.

Co-Leader

- Get 3 EXP for every post in threads

- Get 1 EXP if they put the VMO Banner in their Sig

- In Organization Votes/Polls, Decisions, etc. They have 1 Vote.

- Can Spend 1-2 EXP per day.

Leader

- Have no EXP, but can get whatever they want in the Shoppe.

- Required to put Banner in Sig.

- In Organization Votes/Polls, Decisions, etc. They have 1 Vote.

- Can get any amount of things from the Shoppe.

- Is automatically in all jobs

As Idea Creator' date=' here are some

[1'] EXP Change!
-I Think members should recieve EXP for, not only posting in threads, but posting threads in the club
-Let's say one person puts 5 threads in the club, and everyone responds. Everyone gets 5 EXP, but that person who posted the thread, recieves none. I think this might want to make the members be more activbe.

[2] EXP Shoppe Items
-I suggest Sigs, Avi's, yadda yadda
-I can do Splices, including all the sub-levels.

Yeah, but my personal feet is to only make posts when it's necessary so I wouldn't even remotely qualify for those. ;)

Considering we're the VMO, and therefore should be setting the example bar as high as possible, I would suggest something more along the lines of quality > quantity. Something like a nomination kinda thing. I know, for a fact, I would nominate Darth Browarod for all the help he's given me in getting to the level I'm currently at when it comes to OCG.

Another idea, since the contest is kind of in limbo at the momment...I recommend that after giving the other members a chance to change over to this thread and get back up to speed that we put the results to a PM vote. Those who have a submission pending could vote(obvioulsy not for themselves) and then we'd just do a simple tally for the winners.

EDIT: I just saw your post, Hunter. Since I'm not on the roster yet I have 0 EXP. So they're all pretty much new. Add the links to your newest card sets to the list for the other members and then I'll run through them and confirm my own posts in each thread to make things easier. Then it's just a matter of making another post like the last one with the post numbers. BTW, I was the 1st person to post a reply to your magic set. ;)
