The Nyx Avatar
With the discontinuation of Adobe Flash, I thought it'd be nice to reminisce about Flash games. Sure, there's other forms of media in relation to Flash such as videos. But games were what I remember Flash most fondly about. Whether you lacked money for video games or wanted a neat way to kill time at school or elsewhere, what are some Flash games you remember fondly? Tinkerer
A number of games developed by John Cooney, aka. jmtb02 I loved "This is the only Level" and its sequels and I'd replayed 'em a few months back. "Give Up" was sadistic, but it was overly satisfying when I eventually won. I didn't even know John made "Super Duck Punch" but that was a fun game too. He just did a whole lot. Aside from John's games, I also fondly remember "Indestructo Tank" and the "Shift" series of games. Good times.
Pommelo
I know the thread is about AFP games, but I have to say, I'm deeply concerned about the discontinuation. Since I'm using a Chromebook, the only Image Editor Programs I have access to are Pixlr and Photopea (I use the latter basically for everything), and AFAIK, they run with AFP. I know that there's an Extension called Ruffle which supposedly allows you to run most stuff based in AFP, but again, given the chromebook, I'm not sure if it will work here T_T. Good thing we're finishing the Event soon, otherwise I wouldn't be able to modify the map, worst case scenario.

I mean you did more than I did and visited them again last year. 4 hours ago, Rayfield Lumina said: I know the thread is about AFP games, but I have to say, I'm deeply concerned about the discontinuation. While you may not have shared any games, I must admit I'm interested. What's this "Ruffle" you mentioned? It'd be coo to visit my favorite flash games from middle school years. Anywho: Fancy Pants Adventure 2 The Madness Games Legend of Johnny Soul Tax Final Fantasy Sonic Age of War These are just some of the games I played. Soul Tax I think was the latest one I played. I left the link embedded up there, but here's it again: https://ruffle.rs/ Depending on your needs, you install an extension for your browser and supposedly you will be able to keep playing the AFP based games n.n They're still developing it but I think it's usable right now. I recognize the Fancy Pants guy because the Shift games used 'em as a secret unblockable character, but I never actually played the games myself. 3 hours ago, The Nyx Avatar said: Regardless, I'm glad you had fun! I think the only reason I'd looked 'em up again was because of the almighty power of procrastination.
