Thomas★Zero
Ancient Thunder Dragon Rank 5 LIGHT Thunder/Xyz/Effect 2 Level 5 Thunder monsters You can also Xyz Summon this card by using "Thunder Dragon" monsters from your hand as Xyz Material. Gains 100 ATK and DEF for each Thunder monster in your GY. You can only use the following effects of "Ancient Thunder Dragon" once per turn. * (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and target 1 monster your opponent controls; the targeted card cannot attack and its effects are negated. * If this card is destroyed by battle or by an opponents card effect: Special Summon as many "Thunder Dragon" from your hand, Deck or GY in Defense Position, also the summoned monsters cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects this turn, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck except Thunder monsters this turn. The Highlander
An interesting take on the Thunder Dragon archtype, especially the original Thunder Dragon, however I am afraid this card is a lot too splashable and if it were a real card Thunder Dragon would be similarly often teched as Red-Eyes Dragun, given that it is extremely cheap negation, which in this case does not even put restrictions on yourself or demand a Normal Summon. For the above reasons I would suggest you either force one of the Thunder Dragons to be on the field or put a restriction to only summon thunder monsters during the same turn on the card, design-wise I would prefer the second option. Apart from the above issue I like the idea behind this card and the unconvetnional support for the Thunder Dragon archtype.

I was actually talking about the initial summoning requirements of the Xyz itself (i.e. if you use a material in your hand you should be locked into thunder monsters). The revival effect's splashability completely relies on how accessible this monster is.
