Doigt
Short answer: No. Long answer: The chain already resolved and the timing is incorrect. Longer answer: Magic Cylinder triggers WHEN the attack is declared. To respect timing, BOTH magic cylinders would have had to activate one after the other simultaneously (the rules have never allowed such, you cannot chain simultaneously). Basically, once you activated your card in response to Magic Cylinder, the attack had been declared, but the moment was a while ago from the point of view of the chain and so, the trigger changed. The only thing he can activate then is something which doesn't require a specific trigger or one which is triggered by the activation of your card. However, once the negation has resolved, it's too late to activate a response and so the attack goes through. Since the attack goes through, that means the attack declaration is already done and it is not redone, thus it doesn't trigger Magic Cylinder. In other words, Magic Cylinder works WHEN the attack is made and not IF it was made.
