Atypical-Abbie
PHRA-JP078 Warning Point Normal Trap (1) When a monster(s) is Summoned face-up: for the rest of this turn, those face-up monsters cannot attack, they have their effects negated (if any), and they cannot be used as material for Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Summons. Even YGO is telling you to lock down everything.
~British Soul~
BS got a Warning Point for posting a thread that already exists OT: I suppose this could be a going first option against Numeron? Though better options exist
Tinkerer
Normal Trap as well, so it's got Trap Trick shenanigans. Yugioh's in a weird place of consistent and powerful archetypes, huge preventative cards (this, Feed Back, etc.), and powerful field breakers (Evenly Matched, Super Poly, NMCR, etc.). The ceiling just feels so much higher than it ever has before...
vla1ne
This seems like a traptrix/paleo?guru/ect kind of card. it's a less drastick freeze on the game than feedback, but does the job in it's own unique way. and both of these are in the same set? Is there even any argument that phantom rage is the best set (especially among main sets) of the past several years? 6 hours ago, Tythe Scora said: Yugioh's in a weird place of consistent and powerful archetypes, huge preventative cards (this, Feed Back, etc.), and powerful field breakers (Evenly Matched, Super Poly, NMCR, etc.). Best part about it imo. every playstyle has at least one deck in the meta, and even the weakest decks are capable of some insane things. the floodgates are big, the combo decks have massive amounts of plays available, and while there are a lot of "common" plays among decks these days (needlefiber - o lion - linkross type plays and such), the variations overall are amazing, as are the ways to stop them. Especially sphere mode. Easily my favorite thing in the game right now is watching opponents set up the borreload savage/arclight/appolusa/ect combos, and then squatting my giant ball right on their best boards for practically free. Dragulas
I honestly think this should have come some sort hand activation condition. Its less devastating than nibiru (upon execution) although this at the right time could mean end of the turn of a combo deck. At worst is just more situational breakthrough/impermanence. Agreed, sadly this is only really good if you go first and insanely slow if you draw it later.
