talgoose
here i created a card with a design very simple but that i think work for the card in question, my problem is the effect: i can't decide wich effect should be the final one, what do you think, @Rayfield Lumina ? :
Pommelo
Hey, Talgoose, how's it going? Firstly, the art. Again, it works. It is very simple and nice, but sometimes little is more, and this is the case, that along the visual effects and the altered version of the Spirit background. I'm divided whether the smaller or the bigger version of the charm is better, though. Maybe the bigger one, but keep the first background, it can't be appreciated well in the last pic and the contrast of purple tones in the first version looks better. As for the effect, I'd choose the second one, BUT there's one thing to correct. Remember what I told you last time about Pendulums? They become 100% Spells while in the Pendulum Zone, they're not "Spirit" monsters AFAIK. There might be an easier way to go with this, but I'm thinking this could work: Quote Your opponent can only declare 1 attack per Battle Phase while you control a Pendulum Card that is a Spirit Monster in the GY. Monsters, except Spirit Monsters, cannot activate their effects while you control a Spirit Monster. If you don't have a Spirit Monster in your hand, destroy this card. Remember in future card grammar that you needn't say "You control" AND "In your field", it's redundant. I took a small liberty here: In the original, it says only 1 monster can attack. In this version, it says only 1 attack can be declared per Battle Phase. It might seem the same, but there are some nasty critters out there that can attack more than once, and with the first version, only 1 can attack, yeah, but as many times as it can. Returning to the "I'm not a monster while in the Pendulum Zone" thingy, you probably are treating the second effect like it is active if you have an Spirit Monster in the Pendulum Zone, but again, this won't be the case. And since Spirits return to the hand during the End Phase, that means you only negate the non-Spirit Effects during your turn, while you're controlling one of them. If you truly want to keep the effect at all times, you can also modify the text so it says Monsters, except Spirit Monsters, cannot activate their effects while you control a Spirit Monster or a Pendulum Card that is an Spirit Monster in the GY. I feel this is TOO strong of an effect, hence why I didn't use it in the above quote. Finally, the effect of the third version of the spell also sounds good to me, I'd keep it, but for another card. Dokutah
welp, while i know the context is you choose one of the 3 to be the "single" card of the post. but is de facto is 3 cards in the post and given how strict the policy was (when sakura around especially)... friendly reminder that if you posting multiple card that's not 2 or less that exclusively only work with each other with no relation to archetype other than supporting per-existing archetype, then you should only post it on its intended multiple sub section (if its casual, post it on multiple casual, advance > multiple advance, etc)
