Traditional Format is better than Advanced Format.

JesusofChaos basically got it.

Traditional may be a ridiculously broken format, but nowadays the same is true of Advanced. The difference is that Traditional removes restrictions on cards; since skill is a factor in neither format, the deciding factor on which is better should be "fun", and allowing people to use whatever cards they want increases the "fun". Furthermore, since Traditional isn't played competitively, its broken cards tend to be cheaper, which means its decks are also cheaper, requiring less of an investment.

Glad I guessed correctly. It would have been a huge blow to my ego if I hadn't.

well

it scares me that you put fun in inverted commas

but actually advanced format is played competitivly and as wel all know winning at the proper tournoment level format and being able to win prises (no matter what they are), is more fun than winning at the other side of a game wich noone takes as seriously
