[align=center]Episode 35: Clash in the Gladiator Arena!

Riley looked across the field at his opponent. He wasn't sure why Tyaro had returned so soon to duel him, but he was always ready for a duel, and this was no exception.

Riley: Alright pal, you should get ready to lose another duel to me!

Tyaro: This duel won't end the same way that the last duel ended, and that is a promise.

Riley: *He's acting weird. I wonder why. Maybe he's not having a great day. Whatever, I'm going to enjoy this duel!*

Ace: Riley, let's see what that Gladiator Beast Deck of yours can really do!

Riley: Sure thing Ace! This is that I was telling you about.

Ace: This is Tyaro? It's nice to meet you Tyaro. My name is Ace.

Tyaro: It's nice to meet you too. *Don't worry Steven, I'm not going to use my Six Samurai Deck, so this duel won't be tough.*

Riley: I will make the first move, if that's ok with you.

Tyaro: Go for it.

Riley: Alright then! I play Dark Deity. Now, I can send the top five cards of my Deck to the Graveyard, and draw 1 card from my Deck!

Riley takes the top 5 cards from his Deck out of his duel disk, and sends them to the Graveyard.

Tyaro: So, you're getting rid of 5 cards so you can draw 1? What a useless move. You have no dueling talent.

Riley: Hold on, don't get too overconfident! I'm not done yet.

Tyaro: Before you continue your move, I have an idea. How about this? If I win, I get all of your Gladiator Beast cards, and if you win, I'll give you a rare card.

Riley: Wha? Why do you want my Gladiator Beast cards? They don't really go with the theme of your Deck. Although, if you insist, I guess I'll accept your idea.

Ace: *Riley, don't make a move you'll regret. I don't think this is a good idea, because I have a weird feeling about Tyaro.*

Tyaro: *Excellent. This is easier than I expected it to be.* Alright, continue with your move.

Riley: You asked for it! I summon Gladiator Beast Hoplomus (700/2100) in Defense Position. Now, I'll place 1 card face-down and end my turn.

Tyaro quickly drew a card from his deck, and smiled.

Tyaro: What a nice draw. I play Fissure. Now, your Hoplomus is destroyed.

Riley: Sorry Hoplomus, there isn't anything I can do right now!

Tyaro: If you liked that move, you'll probably like this one more! I summon Gladiator Beast Bestiari (1500/800) in Attack Position.

Riley: That's a...

Tyaro: Gladiator Beast. You're not the only duelist that uses these cards. I am supposed to be the only duelist that uses Gladiator Beasts, but you got some Gladiator Beast cards, and I don't plan on letting you keep them much longer. When I win this duel, I will be the only duelist with a Gladiator Beast Deck.

Riley: Why is it so important to you?

Tyaro: I earned these cards. You shouldn't be able to use them because you didn't earn them.

Riley: How did you earn them?

Tyaro: That doesn't matter. Now, Gladiator Beast Bestiari, attack his Life Points directly with Cylcone Strike!

Riley: Sorry Tyaro, I'm not going to let that happen. I play the Trap Card Dimensional Prison. This card removes from play your Bestiari!

Tyaro: Whatever. You don't have all of the Gladiator Beast cards like I do. Your Deck isn't good.

Riley: I don't know what happened to you. When I met you, I thought you were an awesome person. Now, you aren't the same anymore.

Tyaro: I don't care what you think of me. I want your Gladiator Beast cards and that is all that matters!

Riley: *I don't think this duel is worth it.*

Ace: You said this guy was your friend Riley. It doesn't seem like it.

Tyaro: I'm not your friend. I'm someone that wants your cards. You don't deserve them.

Riley: Look, I don't get angry that often, but I'm not going to stand here and let you take the cards without defeating me. So if you want the cards so badly, defeat me in a duel!

Tyaro: Fine. If that's how you want to play. I'll place 2 cards face-down. Your move.

*In Domino City*

Background

Duelist (with Australian accent): Alright mate, it's time to do this!

Duelist (with Southern accent): You sure about this? I don't know if I'm the one that should do this.

Duelist (with Australian accent): Trust me. I know you're the right one.

Two duelists run up to them.

Duelist 1: Stop. You two are up to something, and you're going to have to duel us!

Duelist (with Australian accent): You'd like to have a Tag Duel with us? Sorry mate, but my friend here has somewhere to go. I will take you both on. I could spare a minute.

Duelist 2: You're pretty arrogant.

Duelist (with Southern accent): Do you think you can take them both? I can help you.

Duelist (with Australian accent): Get going.

The duelist with the Australian accent activates his duel disk.

Duelist (With Australian accent): Game on!

*Back to Diamond City*

Riley draws a card from his Deck. He didn't know why Tyaro was acting differently, but there wasn't much he could do about it.

Riley: I'm usually a friendly person, but if I'm going to have to be angry in order to get through to you, that is what I will do! I play the Spell Card Polymerization! Now, I'll fuse Thunder Dragon (1600/1500) and Thunder Dragon (1600/1500) to Summon Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon (2800/2100) in Attack Mode!

Tyaro: See, this is what I mean. You have Thunder-Type monsters in a Gladiator Beast Deck.

Riley: I don't have a lot of Gladiator Beast monsters yet. When I get more of them, I will put them in my Deck.

Tyaro: You're useless.

Riley: I'm not useless, but your face-down cards will be! I activate Heavy Storm!

Tyaro places his two face-down cards, Dust Tornado and Mirror Force, in the Graveyard.

Riley: Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon, attack with Electric Blast!

Tyaro's Life Points - 1200

Riley's Life Points - 4000

Riley: I end my turn.

Tyaro: My move. I summon Gladiator Beast Torax (1400/400) in Defense Position. Now, I activate the Spell Card Burial from a Different Dimension. This card allows me to return up to 3 cards that are removed from play to their owners' Graveyards. I will return Gladiator Beast Bestiari to my Graveyard.

Riley: I don't know how that is going to do anything for you.

Tyaro: Check this out. I play Monster Reborn! Now, I can Special Summon Gladiator Beast Bestiari from my Graveyard. I will return Gladiator Beast Torax and Gladiator Beast Bestiari from my side of the field to my Deck, to Special Summon Gladiator Beast Gyzarus (2400/1500)!

Riley: That's a powerful monster, but it's not powerful enough to destroy my Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon!

Tyaro: Gyzarus has an effect. That effect allows me to destroy your Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon. Now, Gyzarus, attack his Life Points directly with Air Blade!

Tyaro's Life Points - 1200

Riley's Life Points - 1600

Tyaro: I end my turn.

Riley: *I won't give up!* You're not going to win! I set a monster and end my turn. *Tyaro might not attack my face-down monster with Gyzarus.*

Tyaro: Riley, you lose. I activate Shield Crush! This card allows me to destroy your face-down monster.

Riley sends Gladiator Beast Murmillo to the Graveyard.

Tyaro: Gyzarus, attack Riley's Life Points directly and end this duel!

Tyaro's Life Points - 1200

Riley's Life Points - 0

Tyaro: I want all the Gladiator Beast cards that you have!

Riley hands the cards to Tyaro, and Tyaro walks away.

Ace: Riley, you ok?

Riley: I am ok, but I don't think Tyaro is!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Hidden Legacy

Episode 36: Fossil Dragon Destruction!

[On the last Hidden Legacy: Riley lost a duel to Tyaro, and had to give Tyaro all of his Gladiator Beast cards. During the duel, an Australian duelist and a duelist with a southern accent talked about some kind of plan. The duelist with the southern accent left to get the plan underway, and the Australian duelist stayed where he was to duel two duelists that came into the building he was in. Can this Australian duelist defeat the two duelists? Or better yet, is he a good or evil?]

*Dark Building*

There were three duelists in the building. There weren’t any lights on, so the only thing that was visible was the outline of the duelists’ bodies. The Australian duelist stood on one side of the building, and the other two duelists stood across from him. All three duelists had their Duel Disks on.

Australian Duelist: You ready mates? Game on!

Because there weren’t any lights on, it was impossible to see the duelists on the other side of him, so the Australian duelist didn’t know what his opponents looked like.

Australian Duelist: *I may not be able to see what these guys look like, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to win this game.* Alright mates, I can’t tell you two apart, so I’m gonna call you Joe and Bob. Now, if you have a problem with that, I’m not really concerned. Listen up mates. I’ll make the first move. Then, Bob can take his turn, I’ll take my turn, and Joe will take his turn. You guys understand how this is gonna work?

Bob: I don’t like being called Bob, but since I don’t want to tell you my real name, I’ll deal with it.

Joe: I don’t think this duel will take more than 2 turns, so I don’t care if you choose to call me Joe. So, what’s your name “mate”?

Australian Duelist: I’ll tell you my name when the duel is over.

Joe: You should tell us now, because it could save you some trouble in the long run.

Australian Duelist: I'll pass mate. I'm not worried about the you two.

Bob: You should be, and I'm going to show you why! I activate the Spell Card Summon Storm! This card allows me to special summon a level four wind monster from my hand. I summon Wind Effigy (1800/200) in attack mode. Now, I release Wind Effigy to summon Simorgh, Bird of Ancestry (2900/2000).

Australian Duelist: Sorry to interrupt mate, but that Simorgh of yours requires two releases to be summoned, and you only tributed one.

Bob: Usually, you would be correct, but Wind Effigy has an effect. If I release Wind Effigy to summon a normal monster, it can be treated as two releases.

Australian Duelist: Ok, but your Simorgh is an effect monster. Get where I'm goin with this?

Bob: My Bird of Ancestry is treated as a normal monster while it is in my hand.

Australian Duelist: Alright mate, continue. *That's a powerful monster, but I can take it down.*

Bob: I will play one card face-down and end my turn.

Australian Duelist: Check this out. I summon Flint Cragger (800/1300) in defense position. Now, I will play two cards face-down and end my turn.

*Diamond City*

Riley stood up, looked at Ace, and began to walk away.

Ace: Riley, you alright?

There was no response though. Riley continued to walk, and Ace noticed that there was something different about him. What was it? Ace took his Deck out of his pocket and looked through it. There were exactly forty cards in his Deck, and the Deck looked normal. He didn’t know why he had taken his Deck out in the first place, but for some reason he thought there might be something wrong with it.

Ace: I’ve got a bad feeling about this.

Riley continued to walk. He thought about his friend Tyaro. They had just became friends and now Tyaro had betrayed him. Someone else had to be involved in the situation. Whoever that person was would be taken down. Riley wasn’t going to let his friend become the pawn of an evil person.

The more he walked, the angry he got. Riley didn’t want to wait for the enemy to come to him, he wanted to go find the enemy and destroy the enemy. Nothing else mattered to Riley.

There was a flash of light, and a pile of cards appeared on the ground. Riley walked up to the pile of cards, and picked it up. After counting the cards, Riley realized that there were fifteen cards in the pile. That was interesting because Riley had taken fifteen cards out of his Deck when he lost the duel to Tyaro. Without reading the effects of the cards, Riley placed them in his Deck, and placed his Deck in his pocket. He didn’t care what cards he had to use to take down the enemy, but he was going to do it.

*Dark Building*

Australian Duelist: Joe, are you gonna make your move or what? I don’t feel like waiting all day.

Joe: Fine, I was trying to let you enjoy the duel before you were defeated, but if you want to lose quickly that’s ok.

Australian Duelist: Less talking, more dueling, mate. If you think you’re good, then prove it.

Joe draws a card from his Deck and smiles at Jim.

Joe: Let’s see if you’re still acting confident after I summon Green Gadget (1400/600)!

Australian Duelist: That’s an impressive monster, but you’re gonna need more than that to take me down.

Joe: I’m not done yet. My Green Gadget has a special ability. When it’s summoned I can add a Red Gadget from my Deck to my hand. Now, I’ll attack your Flint Cragger with Green Gadget. Mechanical Smash!

Green Gadget leaps in the air and moves toward Flint Cragger. As Green Gadget is about to destroy Flint Cragger, it is coated in a dark armor, and destroyed.

Australian Duelist: Sorry mate, but when you attacked I activated Sakuretsu Armor. This card destroys a monster that declares an attack!

Bob: Joe, don’t keep making mistakes like that. It could cost us the duel!

Joe: Sorry, I won’t do that again. Besides, he was just lucky. I’ll place one card face-down and end my turn.

Australian Duelist: Alright then, it’s my move! *I should end this duel quickly so they won’t have an opportunity to gain an advantage.* Alright then, I activate Flint Cragger’s effect! By sending it to the Graveyard, I can inflict five hundred damage to your Life Points!

Bob & Joe’s Life Points: 7500

Australian Duelist’s Life Points: 4000

Bob: You’re gonna have to do better than that if you want to beat us.

Australian Duelist: I plan to. I play Fossil Fusion! Now I’ll remove from play Flint Cragger and Wind Effigy to summon Fossil Warrior Ancient Wind (1400/1100)!

Bob: So you decided to use my monster to summon a fusion monster? Impressive.

Australian Duelist: If you thought that was impressive, you’ll love this. I activate Ancient Wind’s special ability. When he is summoned, I can special summon one rock-type monster from my Deck. That monster is treated as a wind monster as long as it remains face-up on the field during this duel. I choose Flint Cragger (800/1300)!

Bob: Your monsters are weak!

Joe: Bob's correct!

Australian Duelist: Have either of you ever lost a duel in less than five turns?

Bob: No

Joe: No way!

Australian Duelist: Well, I there is a first time for everything.

Bob: What are you trying to say?

Australian Duelist: I've got this duel won! I release Fossil Warrior Ancient Wind and Flint Cragger to Special Summon Fossil Dragon Raging Fury (3000/200)!

Bob: How are you going to win with that?

Australian Duelist: When Fossil Dragon Raging Fury is summoned, I can remove all cards in my Graveyard from play. For each card I remove, Fossil Dragon Raging Fury can attack an extra time. Now, there are four cards in my Graveyard, so Raging Fury gets to attack five times! During the end phase of this turn, Raging Fury is destroyed, but I am going to win the duel this turn, so that doesn't matter.

Joe: Sorry to say this, but I activate Threatning Roar! Now, you can't attack during this turn.

Australian Duelist: You can't activate any Trap Cards during the turn that Raging Fury is special summoned!

Joe: What?!

Australian Duelist: Fossil Dragon Raging Fury, destroy Simorgh, and attack attack directly four times! You lose twelve thousand one hundred life points!

Bob & Joe's Life Points: 0

Australian Duelist: 4000

Australian Duelist: Before I leave, I want you to tell me why you wanted to duel me.

Bob: We work for a man named Steven. He wanted us to defeat you.

Australian Duelist: That's good enough. Also, my name, is Jim Cook.

Next Time: Jim's Time to Shine!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Hidden Legacy

Episode 37: Jim’s Time to Shine

[On the last Hidden Legacy: The Australian duelist turned out to be Jim Cook. After Jim defeated “Bob” and “Joe” in a two-on-one duel, he was able to find out some information that Riley should know. Can Jim get the information there in time? What is Riley’s plan?]

*Domino City*

Jim took off his duel disk and placed it on the ground. He had to talk to Riley, but he didn’t know where Riley was. This wasn’t a good thing.

Jim: *I need to find Riley before Steven puts his plan into action.*

*Diamond City*

Ace had a weird feeling. Something was wrong. He wasn’t with Riley, and Riley could have tried to go stop the enemy. As Ace continued walking, he heard a voice.

Ace heard footsteps. He wasn't sure who or what was coming, and he didn't want to find out.

*2 Years Ago - Diamond City*

Ace's Dad: Listen Ace, there's something I want to tell you.

Ace: Wha? What is it dad?

Ace's Dad: Throughout your life, you will learn that there can't be a winner.

Ace: What do you mean?

Ace's Dad: *laughs*, I thought you might ask that. Every situation will end in a compromise. You can't get everything and you can't lose everything.

Ace: I'm kinda confused.

Ace's Dad: That's completely understandable. Now then, I'm not going to explain this to you. I want you to figure it out.

Ace: Ok...

Ace's Dad: I'm sure that this is all very confusing right now, but as you go through life, it will begin to make more sense. There will come a time in your life when you will completely understand this.

Ace: If you say so.

Ace's Dad: I'll always love you Ace.

Ace: I'll always love you too Dad.

*2 Years Later - Diamond City*

???: Well, well, well. Ace Emerald. It’s so nice to finally meet you.

Ace turned around, and saw a man wearing a black shirt. He was about six feet, two inches tall, so he was much taller than Ace, who was only five feet, seven inches tall. There was something about this man that gave Ace a weird feeling. What was it though?

Ace: Who are you? How do you know my name?

???: I know many things, and your name is one of them.

Ace: What do you want?

???: I want infinite power. In order to get that, I have to destroy all seven of the duelists that went to the duel spirit world.

Ace thought for a second.

Ace: *Seven? Riley, Crystal, Jessie, Andrix, Seto, and me. That’s only six people.* Only six people went to the duel spirit world.

???: Did you include Shadow?

Ace: *Is he serious? There’s no way anyone could have found out that Shadow went to the duel spirit world. People knew Shadow by a different name. The darkness in Shadow took over, and the darkness named itself Shadow. Although Ace didn't know Shadow's real name, Jessie had told him

???: No comment? That’s fine. Now, I’m going to destroy you.

Ace: If it’s a duel you want, it’s a duel you’re gonna get!

The duelist laughed. An evil smile appeared on his face.

???: I’m not going to duel you. I have more power than you think. I’m going to destroy you with a duel monster.

Ace: Yeah, like that will happen.

???: You idiot! You have no idea how powerful I am. Now, enjoy your last second before you die!

The duelist took a card out of his pocket and placed it on his duel disk.

???: Say hello to The Wicked Eraser (?/?)!

The monster was larger than any of the surrounding buildings, and it was shrouded by darkness. Ace couldn’t move. He was terrified. The creature was completely evil. Ace didn't think there was anything he could do. Was he really going to die here?

???: One more thing before I destroy you. I might let you live a little longer if you tell me the name of the duelist that used a plant deck in the duel spirit world. That’s the only name I need.

Ace suddenly realized something. He had an advantage, because Steven didn’t know Andrix’s name.

Ace: *This could be my chance to counterattack.*

Ace placed his deck in his duel disk, activated his duel disk, and drew five cards. Then, he drew another card.

???: What do you think you’re doing?

Ace: Fighting back! I summon Flying Fish (800/500)! Now, I play Foolish Burial. I’ll use this to send my Dandylion to the graveyard. Thanks to my Dandylion’s effect, I get to summon two Fluffy Tokens (0/0)! I’m not done yet! I play United We Stand. I’ll equip it to Flying Fish. Since I have three monsters on the field, Flying Fish gains twenty four hundred attack points!

[Flying Fish (800 + 2400 = 3200)]

???: How were you able to summon a monster?

Ace: I have some information that you need. I’m not going to let you have that information, and if you destroy me now, you won’t be able to complete your plan!

???: Your attempt to stop me was impressive, but The Wicked Eraser gains one thousand attack points for each card on your side of the field. You have four, so it gains four thousand attack points!

[The Wicked Eraser (? + 4000 = 4000)]

Ace: I’m not worried about your Eraser anymore! Flying Fish, attack The Wicked Eraser with Hydro Wind!

???: You idiot! You just destroyed yourself!

Ace: Don’t be so sure! I play Battle Fusion! Now, Flying Fish gains attack points equal to the attack points of The Wicked Eraser!

[Flying Fish (3200 + 4000 = 7200)

Steven: How is this possible?

Ace: I’m about to “erase” your Eraser! Flying Fish, destroy The Wicked Eraser!

Flying Fish flew toward The Wicked Eraser, and shot a blast of water at it. The Wicked Eraser exploded into pixels.

Ace: *Ace's Dad: I'm sure that this is all very confusing right now, but as you go through life, it will begin to make more sense. There will come a time in your life when you will completely understand this.* I promise you that I will figure this out.

???: What are you talking about?

Ace: That's of no importance to you! I'm not the best duelist, but I'm not scared of you! Now then, if you want that name, you're going to have to duel me!

???: You shouldn't have been able to Summon those monsters! I'm going to destroy you and send you to the shadows!

Ace: You see, I refuse to be destroyed before I figure it out!

???: Figure what out?

Ace: I don't know yet, but I am going to duel you and find out!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Hidden Legacy

Episode 38: The Chariot of Death Part One

Ace stared at ???, and ??? returned the stare. The tension in the area was incredible.

???: Well, we should get this duel started before we run out of time.

Suddenly, Ace, who had been zoning out, became completely focused on the situation.

Ace: What do you mean? Run out of time for what?

???: *laughs* You're so foolish, yet so powerful at the same time. You see, The Wicked Eraser has a special ability. When it's destroyed, all cards on the field are destroyed. However, I summoned The Wicked Eraser in the real world, so instead of destroying cards...

Ace: It'll destroy people.

???: You catch on quickly. In exactly thirty minutes The Wicked Eraser will destroy everything in this area. The blast will hit things that are over 10 miles away. There's no way to stop it, unless you win.

Ace: So, what you're telling me is that if I don't defeat you in thirty minutes, this area will be obliterated, and I'll be destroyed?

???: Precisicely. In other words, you're going to die in thirty minutes.

Ace was completely terrified. Having to fight The Wicked Eraser was scary, but he had managed to defeat it. Now, he had thirty minutes to save the lives of over one thousand people. How was he going to do that.

Ace: *I wonder what Riley would do in this situation.*

???: The smart thing would have been to let The Wicked Eraser destroy you. Sure, you'd be sent to the shadows, but the people in this area wouldn't be sent to the shadows with you. Now, you're going to die and so are a lot of other people. What a selfish move.

Ace: *He's playing mind games with me. He's trying to make me lose focus on the main goal. There's nothing I can do to stop this duel, so I'm going to have to try my best. I can't lost with the lives of so all those people on the line. I changed my deck a little since I last dueled Riley, but I don't know if those changes will be enough to defeat The Wicked God cards.*

???: No comment? That's fine. Let's begin. You can make the first move.

Ace: *I can't make any mistakes. One mistake could cause me to lose the duel, and that would cause a lot of deaths.* I don't need to make a comment, cause unlike you, I prefer to actually do something instead of just talking about it! I summon Deepsea Macrotrema (600/100) in defense mode! Now, I'll play one card face-down and end my turn.

A small, odd-looking fish with blade-like whiskers appeared on the field, and a face-down card appeared behind it.

???: Your puny fish won't stand a chance against my Winged Destroyer (1200/400).

A creature larger than Deepsea Macrotrema, with black wings and a large blue sword, appeared on the field.

???: Winged Destroyer, attack Deepsea Macrotrema with Wicked Slice!

The creature ran across the field toward Deepsea Macrotrema, ready to strike.

Ace: I don't think so. I activate Fishy Fusion! This card lets me release a fish-type monster and special summon a level four or lower fish-type monster from my extra deck. I'll release Deepsea Macrotrema and special summon Rare Fish (1500/1200).

The small fish was removed from the field, and a large, beastly fish appeared in its place.

Ace: Thanks to the effect of Deepsea Macrotrema, Rare Fish gains five hundred attack points!

Rare Fish (1500 + 500 = 2000)

???: I'll call off my attack. I play two cards face-down and end my turn.

Ace: *Alright, the first turn was a success, so I'm going to have continue playing with confidence.* I'll release Rare Fish so I can summon Swordfish (1900/400) in attack mode.

The large beast-like fish disappeared, and a smaller fish, with a sword for a tail, appeared on the field.

Ace: Now I'll activate Swordfish's special ability. This lets me activate a field spell card from my deck. I'll choose Solar Ocean!

The entire area turned into an underwater temple, and there was a shining ball of energy at the top.

???: What the?

Ace: Interesting card, huh? Looks aren't the only thing this card has going for it. It has a killer special ability of its own! When a fish-type monster I control destroys one of your monsters, you take five hundred points of damage! Each time you take damage from a card effect, I can place one Solar Counter on my Solar Ocean. By sending it to the Graveyard when it has 5 or more counters on it, I can special summon one Super Ancient Deepsea King Coelacanth from my hand or deck!

???: Your cards are pitiful.

Ace: Let's see if you think they are pitiful after this! Swordfish, destroy Winged Destroy with Deepsea Cutter!

???: I don't think so. I activate Dimensional Prison. Now, your Swordfish is removed from play.

Ace: No! Swordfish!

???: Don't worry, soon enough you'll be in the shadow realm, and you can spend eternity with your monsters. *laughs*.

Ace: We'll see what happens!

???: Yes, I suppose we will.

Ace: There's nothing else I can do. I'll end my turn.

???: Look at you. Before, you were acting so tough, but now, you're defenseless.

Ace couldn't deny what ??? said. ??? was right, Ace was defenseless. However, that didn't mean he was going to lose this turn.

???: I summon Virus Frog (0/500) in defense mode.

A small frog appeared on the field. It was three different colors, and it had three symbols on it. One of the symbols was from the card Crush Card Virus. Ace couldn't identify the other two symbols.

???: Now, I'll activate my face-down card. Go, Crush Card Virus! I'll tribute Virus Frog, and all monsters on your side of the field, in your hand, and that you draw for the next three turns, with an attack of fifteen hundred or more are destroyed. So, let me see the cards in your hand.

Ace had four cards in his hand. He revealed his hand. The cards were Hydro Storm, Rage of the Deepsea King, Flying Fish, and Polymerization.

???: Heh. You're safe for now.

Ace: My move! *Hopefully I won't draw a powerful monster.*

Ace drew a card. He didn't want to look at it.

???: So, let's see the card.

Ace: Fine *he shows the card to ???*.

???: *What the?!*

Ace finally looked at the card. The card was Instant Fusion. Normally, this wouldn't have been a problem for ???, but there was a combo that Ace could perform using Instant Fusion and Polymerization.

Ace: Do you still think you're going to win?

???: No, I know I'm going to win.

Ace: Oh yeah? Well, let's find out! I play Instant Fusion! By giving up one thousand life points, I can special summon a level five or lower fusion monster from my extra deck!

Ace's Life Points: 3000

???'s Life Points: 4000

Ace: Say hello to Fusionist (900/700)! Next up, I'll play Polymerization to fuse Flying Fish with Fusionist!

The two monsters merge and form a new creature. The new creature is a large beast-type monster. It looked like Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts, but it was blue and it has sharp claws.

Ace: Meet Typhoon Devastator (1500/1800)!

???: Now the fun begins...

Next Time: The Chariot of Death Part Two
