Vlasaras
(This card's name is always treated as "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".) Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 level 7 or lower Dragon Normal monster from your Hand or Deck to your side of the field. During your End Phase: If you currently control no cards on your side of the field and your opponent controls a face-up monster, you can Special Summon this card from your GY but banish it when it leaves the field. This is how I imagine an effect blue eyes white dragon would be...and no alternative blue eyes is a different story the harpie lady situation is intentional cuz I WANT you to only run this as the new one and not the old original
Dramatic Crossroad
You're kinda contradicting yourself. You want this card to be run instead of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" completely, yet this card supports summoning a Normal Monster, or you maybe designed it to summon "Dragon Spirit of White", but even then this card would only work on summoning it from the hand. The "legacy" support Konami gives to Blue-Eyes is to make cards that make it good/better, not outright replace it from the main deck. These effects are not worth it IMO, since you have to cheat this card out on the field, which to be fair isn't all that difficult anymore with all the tuners now, however why would you pick to summon this beatstick over another monster that would grant you more advantage (like Solid or Alternative or Deep-Eyes). You would not want to banish it either, since BEWD is a precious resource in the GY your can recycle and re-summon. Another thing - this card is treated as a BEWD, but cannot benefit from all the support readily available from the original being a Normal Monster ("Silver's Cry', "Azure-Eyes", "Mausoleum of White", "Dragon Shrine" etc.) Suggestions: - rename it, since "Glowing" doesn't sound epic enough. - have it treated as a Normal Monster while in the hand and/or field and GY. Here is a quick brainstorming idea: Blue-Eyes Radiant Dragon (LIGHT) Level 8 / ATK/3000 /DEF/2500 [Dragon/Gemini/Effect] (This card's name is always treated as "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".) This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Deck and GY. If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of an "Eyes" monster OR Normal Summoned while face-up on the field, this card becomes and Effect Monster with this effect: While this card is face-up on the field, the name of face-up Level 8 or higher LIGHT Dragon-Type monsters you control becomes "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" and their original ATK becomes 3000, if lower than 3000. Vlasaras
first of all: thanks for taking the effort to write all this down and for the rich comment in general second: jokes on you, this idea is actually already play tested on a LOT custom section duels in duelling book, if you are aware of the horrors that is the ''custom section'' in duelling book, the fact that this survived or was even affective for that matter says a LOT. it really does not need to be a vanilla, to hell with the vanilla support ( I actually have a ton of vannilas made on duelling book im too bored to post here). about your idea...I like it..but its not what im aiming for, im being honest building cards from the ground up I never take into account existing ones for the oh soo simple fact that the cards I make will probably never get a clone in real life, soo its mostly all in good fun (until you fight the guy with the easy unaffected by anything SS boss monster in the custom section). also thanks again for the comment.
