Guest Chaos Pudding
The real question is' date=' who is this 「tea.leaf」 person? 「tea.leaf」
I still consider myself kind of new at this game, because I'm really not all that good. Although, I have picked up a little experience. And I'm going to reassess the advice that Dark One posted: By what you say, I should load up my deck with SIX more Tributes? Call me stupid, but I think that's insane. I used to think this deck can keep up, but NINE tributes is overkill. (Yes, I was dumb enough to try.) What's more likely to happen is I'll end up with dead Monarchs in my hand.
Guest Chaos Pudding
Six is pretty much the absolute max that you should go when it comes to Monarch decks.
「tea.leaf」
Although, I did run this one deck that had eight Monarchs in it back in 2007, and it kept up pretty well. (Damn I miss 3 Brain Controls. T-T)
The Dark One
Monarch decks are designed to be tribute heavy. You're fine, with proper support. Though I do realize that you don't have Snipe Hunter and other discard cost effects in the deck. You can easily turn dead monarchs into useful cards with the right build. D-Fusion is ok in Macro Cosmos as long as you have a field clearing tool at your disposal. (eg. Zerato) However, I was thinking of this deck in more of a OTK state of mind. (Brain fart, I was aware that this was Macro Monarchs, I just forgot for a second while I typed out D-Fusion.) You don't have sufficient draw power to OTK consistently, nor do you have easy ways to readily access Zerato. You're right, D-Fusion has no place in this deck. It is incorrect to say that I added 6 more tribute monsters to your deck. I took out the 2 Plasmas, which are going to be completely dead 90% of the time. Then I added 4 Monarchs. I only increased the number of tributes within your deck by 2. The switch out with Cyber Dragon is, as I said, a maybe. Cyber Dragon will be a dead draw far more often in this deck than in most others. If you don't like switching it for the Zerato and DMoC, fine, but I still don't think it's the best choice. Frankly, I think Cyber Dragon is more likely to be a dead draw than the monarchs. If you follow nothing else, at least use Thestalos. He's a good card. (EDIT: So, since D-Fusion is a bad idea, run Snipe Hunter. It can make dead Monarchs serve a purpose.)
「tea.leaf」
Perhaps, but I'm not really sure if my draws would keep up.

Keep in mind Crab, you and your G-FAQ bunch arrived at the site being a genius club. Is it really so odd for someone else to join a site while already knowing how to play.
