Name: War Master Kaniyara

Card Print: Effect Monster

Effect:During your Battle Phase any Damage you receive out of a Battle including a "War Master" monster turns to 0.  After this card has attacked successfully you can search your Deck for 1 "War Master" monster Level 4 and add it to your Hand.

Stats: ATK/900 DEF/ 2100

Effect: During your Battle Phase "War Master" monster(s) cannot be removed from Play. After this card has successfully attacked you can choose 1 "War Master" monster on the field and change it into Defense Position.  As long as this card is on the field your 
Draw/Standby Phase is treated as your Battle Phase by name.

Effect/Tuner: You can discard this card at anytime from your Hand to count the current Phase as your Battle Phase by name until the next Phase.  During your Battle Phase all "War Master" monster(s) on the field gain 300 ATK/DEF.  When this card successfully attacks a monster and neither this card nor the monster get destroyed you can select one Spell or Trap card on the Field and destroy it.

Effect: This card cannot be Special Summoned except by a effect of a "War Master". During your Battle Phase "War Master" monster(s) on your side of the field cannot be destroyed. A monster attacked by this card is changed to Defense Position after the Damage Step.

Effect: 1 "War Master" Tuner + 1 or more non Tuner monsters
During your Battle Phase the summoning of "War Master" monster(s) cannot be prevented and no Effects, Spells or Traps can be activated as a response. When this card destroys a monster as a result of Battle you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "War Master" monster out of your Deck.

Icon: Continuous

Effect:  Tribute 1 "War Master" monster in order to activate this card. As long as this card is on the field every Phase counts as the owner of this cards Battle Phase by name. Every time you Draw a card place a counter on this card. When there are 2 or more counters on this card destroy this card.

Name: Fields of War

Card Print: Spell Card

Icon: Field Spell

Effect: As long as this card is on the field neither players have a Main Phase 1 or 2 and go from the Standby Phase into their Battle Phase. Both Players can Summon, Flip and Set cards during their Battle Phase. The Battle Phase cannot be skipped or ended prematurely by the effect of another card. 

 

 

So yeah I present my small set of War Master cards (where none of the actuall war masters have pictures out of reasons you cant be told.) A Card group all build out on Having powerful effects during your Battle Phase and another half of cards allowing access to these powerful effects outside of said battle phase.  This set of Cards is more about bringing out the Idea and may or may not be balanced  and likely has a loop hole somewhere with certain already existing cards.  

 

Of course this is more or less a preview of how these cards function and by no means are meant to be the complete set. As time goes on I may add a XYZ monster,a second synchro monster, normal War Master monster without effects, and more spell and trap cards that compliment the playstyle. 

 

So what do you guys think? Would you build a deck around such a bizarre tactic?

 

Also if you have fitting copyright free pictures for the War Masters themselves that would help a bunch to give them personality.

Tuner:  A fearless Warrior that laughs Death in the face. He is always the first to lead the charge against the enemy and also the first to deliver a lethal blow. Once his flaming sword is in motion almost nothing can stop him. His favorite motto is: "The best Defense is a peasant breaking offensive."

Mistakes in the actual card: Forgot the "motto" in the description (dammit)

Attribute: Dark

Type: Warrior

Stats: ATK/1500 DEF/ 1900

Effect:  When this card is summoned choose a "War Master" Effect monster in your Graveyard. The effect of this card becomes the effect of the monster you choose as long as it remains in your Graveyard. When this card is send to the Graveyard negate the effect of all Spell and Trap cards you control until your next Battle Phase.

Attribute: Dark

Type: Warrior

Stats: ATK/2950 DEF/ 2850

Fusion Material: 1 War Master Zour + 1 "War Master" monster Level 6

Effect:  This card can only be Fusion Summoned by the monster(s) listed above. As long as this Card is on the Field your opponents Battle Phase counts as your own by name. During your Battle Phase "War Master" monster(s) effects cannot be negated. When this card attacks a monster in Defense Position you can take control over that monster.

Effect:  You can only equip a "War Master" monster with this card. The equipped monster gains 500 ATK/DEF. The effect of the equipped monster can function in any Phase.

Effect: You can activate this card only in your Draw/Standby and Main Phase 1. Skip ahead into your Battle Phase.

 

 

So here we have the second Batch of cards... and yes I know the monsters have edgy pictures. I will continue to update this page until I run out of ideas.

comments are always appreciated. What would you consider be the biggest problem in the Meta at the moment or the biggest flaw the " War Master" cards so far.  I like to know as many angles as possible and make the cards as viable as possible while also trying to avoid of overpowering them with card support.

The idea behind it is that your opponent can use spell card like normal in the battle phase. The reason why it doesn't stand there is because I am a big dum dum and I havent found yet the time/motivation to rework the first batch of reworks and clean up any effects as I consider it quite draining to pull up the link ---> add 2 words ---> to delete the old card and save the new card----> go back on this page ----> edit and take out the old card and replace it with the new one.  

 

While it is fun to make the cards cleaning up such small things gets annoying and boring real fast. Throws me all the way back at school.
