Quick-play Spell Card

If your opponent negates the activation or the effect of a card or effect that was Chain Link 1: as this card's effect resolution, follow the text of the effect that was negated as if you were using it. You can only activate 1 "A Second Chance" per turn.

Kind of weird in terms of logistic of some effects, but the point of having an effect go through, but negating a negation isnt fun. So I made a Plan B=Plan A card.

I like this. It's an alternative way to countering a negation. It won't help against Counter Traps, but the flexibility of a Quick-Play Spells is more desirable, IMO. I have no suggestions for the effect. If anything, I would play a bit with the name to make a reference to redundancy, or allude to a time distortion, but that's just a personal approach.

It should work though, it is designed to work like witch's strike, so it will activate after resolution of the chian in which the effect was negated.

As for the name, i was thinking on smoething among the lines of the time distortion concept, but I could thinl of a proper name and needed to post it before the card idea was gone.

Ooh, I understand it better now. I thought it was intended to be chained to an effect that is negating your Chain Link 1 effect. Instead it only works after the negation is successful. The card is still good but now I'm not so sure anymore  on how good it is. I was thinking you could chain this to cards like Ash Blossom and Called by the Grave but you have to let the chain resolve first to drop this card.

That is actually a good point consider, called by the grave negation works more like a lingering effect rather than actually negating the card (either effect or activation)
