For some reason I've always had trouble sitting down and reading the Flower Cardians... on a surface level it's just a bunch of paintings you drop in bulk with super high Levels, and then you use like 4 of them for a single Level 6 Synchro with effect that make you think "huh... really?" xD

The ice doge is an alright safety measure, reviving itself and ten giving you a little extra. Being reliant on battle the way it is screams casual play so I imagine it'll self revive and you can drop a Dupe Frog or something just to further wall yourself.

The icy penguin looked pretty solid (no pun intended) and then I suddenly realized it is a Penguin... You might be saying "well duh no sh!t Sherlock!" but I hadn't connected that it gets Penguin support... It's a Penguin Tuner at that xD

It's show time~

Yay! An archetype from my favorite side character design wise, Olga. I was wondering when they would release her stuff... She had so little screen time that details were missing from her Synchro (DEF value) and her Main Deck monsters had no effects to be mentioned. Too bad her cards are oddly reliant on the battle phase though, and are certainly not going to get any more support (one can hope though). XD But, it is nice they paid homage.

On the note of the Penguin thing... It funnily enough follows the bouncing theme of the existing Penguins so you could banish stuff with it with Nopenguin's effect. Notably you can trigger the effect via Summoning it with Emperor Penguin. XD

I forgot about her cards completely tbph, and I suppose it means we'll likely get Halil's Lamp cards at some point.

On a different note, I also forgot there were some Cardians that we still hadn't got from the anime.

Fwiw, the Penguin has also got Vassal stats.

Both those Flower Cardians cards are hilarious. That Level 3's second effect is absolutely amazing, but its summoning condition is fairly inconvenient (I mean, it fits with the rest but still..). You either need the Level 1 or Super Koi Koi (or use one of the effects that let you Special Summon it). It's a lot of effects, but it's still somewhat inconsistent.

The spell is just silly since it's a better in-archetype De-Synchro (which is a tech the deck sometimes uses), but it basically let's you jump to any of the Cardian Synchros rather than limiting you to Summon the one you De-Synchro'd. The (2) effect is also something that Cardians needed.

Yeah, the Penguin has a lot of things going for it: Penguin support, Halqifibrax target, Squire stats, and the 2nd effect works with your own pops, too.

The dog is deceptively good, IMO. It may be battle-reliant but it works from the GY so it's kind of a safety, "in case you need it", comeback card after you use the card. Besides, unless your opponent runs an alternate win condition, it has to enter the Battle Phase. Level 4 is good for Toadally Bahamut, and the effect seems to work on your own monsters so you can give up an attack to field a Level 4- monster. 1400 ATK makes it a Salvage target, too.
