People still run Exodia? Wow. And here I thought the Forbidden One was useless in the new meta.

LIFEPOINTS MATTER!

ATK MATTERS!

STOP SAYING THEY DON'T

WOULD CHIMARATECH FAIL IF ITS ATK WAS 100?!

WOULD MONARCHS BE RIGGED IF THEY HAD 300 MORE ATK?!

WOULD IT BE BAD IF YOU HAD 1000 LP AND YOUR OPPONENT HAD 100000?!

YES!

YES!

YES!

STOP SAYING THAT ITS NOT!

ALL AGREED THAT LIFEPOINTS AND ATK MATTERS?!

They don't.

Life Points do not matter until you hit 0 (or 800, if you wish to play Premature Burial or Brain Control).

ATK/DEF do not matter unless it is in comparison to other monsters.

Right, forgot about D-Fusion.

Life Points do not matter until you hit 2000 (if you plan on using Dimension Fusion), 800 (if you plan on using Premature Burial/Brain Control), or 0.

Smart people need to fail less.

Attack points directly correlates to card advantage. Il Blud with 2500 attack rather than 2100 makes a huge difference.

Card advantage is the important part (unless running lightlords, when all that matters is Judgment Dragon), but it is greatly affected by attack points, and thus attack points do matter.

Lifepoints aren't important until you can't use your advantage to win.

life points indeed DOESN'T matter...

if you are so horrorized about protecting your life points, don't run premature burial, dimension fusion, solemn judgement, brain control, etc... they waste life points...

ATK doesn't matter, if they really matters, every damn good deck would be an aggro deck...

so quit complaining or quit playing...

You missed the point of the thread. I would know, I posted a similar thread on another forum (about attack points) that expresses the point more clearly.

The fact that card advantage is somewhat dependent on Attack points means that they matter. They can be the determining factor for both winning the game, and taking away the advantage needed to win the game.

if i have 50 life points and 3 card in hand 2 face downs and 1 monster (wild heart or something) and u only have 1 monarch and 1 face down with 3000 life points. i have still more likely of a chance to win.

life points dont matter as long as they dont hit 0.
