Another one of my increasingly rare contests, this one coinsides with the Card Maker's 2 Year Anniversary...

Just a heads up, this is a real contest, but I'm being sarcastic about making you cry and such, please give it a go! Anything you're unsure of can be asked in a reply. That being said...

Hello everyone, if you don't want me to make you cry, I suggest you leave this thread now, but the brave of you should stay, and shoot for the stars, I am an extremely tough judge and if your cards aren't good enough - there's no second prize... :twisted:

*Que Deep, "Story-telling" Voice accompanied by Suspensful Music*

While not alot of you know of the old site, it has a big history, sifting through the 133 members of the old site, you'll come across the second Mod to moderate the Yugioh Card Maker forums, SuperSanji. This mysterious person left the site unexpectedly, after making only 13 posts... *Wolf howls* Even though SuperSanji was gone, he certainly was not forgotten, leaving us all with 9 written cards, to be uncovered for this contest now, after a long, long time... *Thunder claps* These cards, merely in written form, needed to be honoured, and today, Yugioh-Card-Makers...

IT IS ALL UP TO YOU!!

Your challenge, should you choose to risk the humilation of failure is, recreate these Zombies in Card Form, as well as create your own addition to this set, of 9 more Zombie cards.

THE RULES

Failure to follow these rules could see your entry... VOID.

1. All cards by SS must be created by "2006 SuperSanji".

2. None of the names, effects, etc. of SS' cards can be changed. (Subject to debate, ask me about your specific enquiries)

3. All cards must be of the Zombie theme.

4. You must make a total of 18 cards (these 9 by SuperSanji and 9 of your own Zombie creations)

5. Other questions, post a reply or PM me.

Here are SuperSanji's written creations;

Figure I'd make a few Zombie type cards because the small (yet very versitile) Zombies have fallen out of memory of most players.

Also I'm not a fan of "This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned by: etc." Most of the time you'll see "This card must initially be summoned by etc {counts as normal/special summon}" initially means "the first time" and afterwards can be done in any way.

Rotting Hand

Dark' date=' Zombie 1*

ATK: 300 DEF: 100

FLIP: Select 1 "Zombie" type monster in your deck and reveal it to your opponent. Sacrifice this card to special summon the selected card in face-up defense position.

Fallen Wolf

Earth, Zombie 3*

ATK: 1400, DEF: 1200

When this card is flip summoned successfully, inflict battle damage to one monster on the field equal to this card's ATK {damage calculation is ignored.}

Decaying Werewolf

Earth, Zombie 4*

ATK: 2200 DEF: 600

When this card destroys a monster as a result of battle, this card immediately is switched to defense position. The owner of this card cannot change its position until the owner's next turn, except by a card effect.

Ressurected Skull

Dark, Zombie, 6*

ATK: 2500, DEF: 1200

This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card must initially be summoned from the graveyard by a card effect.

Horrific Corpse

Dark, Zombie, 8*

ATK: XXXX, DEF: XXXX

This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be summoned by sacrificing "Zombie" type monsters on your side of the field {counts as a tribute summon}. The ATK and DEF of this card is equal to the level of "Zombie" type monsters sacrificed x300. When this card is removed from the field, the owner loses life equal to the ATK of this monster.

Life Drain

Spell - Equip

This card can only be equipped to one of your opponent's monsters when there is a card with "Vampire" in its card name on your side of the field (if there is no "Vampire" card then this card is destroyed.) You gain life equal to the equipped monster's DEF during your opponent's end phase.

Deathtouch

Spell - Quickplay

This card can only be played if there is a "Zombie" type monster on your side of the field. Destroy 1 non-Zombie monster on the field.

Fatal Illness

Trap - Continuous

During both players' standby phase, place 1 D-Counter on all non-Zombie type monsters on the field (limit 1). During both players' end phase, destroy all monsters with a D-Counter on them that was involved in combat during the battle phase. If no monsters were destroyed by this cards effect during the end phase, this card is destroyed.

Refusal to Move On

Trap - Continuous

Zombie type monsters cannot be removed from play by a card's effect.[/quote']

Finally, I know you greedy people will want something out of me for this, so...

There is no second prize, winner takes all...

THE WINNER!!!

This decision was much harder than I expected it to be, as stated on my most recent post, the six runners up will each receive +1 rep, for their hard work and participation... Obviously, there needed to be a winner, just one winner, but I'll also announce second and third...

In third place... Soul Immortal

In second place... theninetailedfox

The winner is...

Weather Duelist!!!

All of your reps and points are on their way! Congratulations to all of you, I'll take a second to thank a few people;

YCMaker, for giving me permission to hold this contest.

All of the completed entrants, but inparticular, Soul Immortal, who was very active and supportive in this contest.

Finally, as if it wasn't obvious... SuperSanji! Maybe one day he will return to us!

Cheers and thanks, Frunk 8)

Only the cards that were actually made by him, your 9 cards that YOU make can be by whoever you want (2007 elsandero, for example).

I think I know what you mean;

In the 'Year' box: 2006

Creator: SuperSanji

I think you need to read this bit again, I enlargened it so this doesn't happen again;

Your challenge' date=' should you choose to risk the humilation of failure is, recreate these Zombies in Card Form, as well as create your own addition to this set, of 9 more Zombie cards.[/size']

:lol: You didn't think I'd give you a 1000 points JUST for finding art. That would make this a very boring contest.

'Stuff ups in this thread' leaderboard:

Frunk: 1

elsandero: 1

I can't count, you can't read :lol:

This is an excellent idea, Frunky. SuperSanji definitely deserves the highest honors. We should have a yugioh card forum hall of fame. People won't be inducted based on their card making skills, but rather the legacy they leave behind. You can only be inducted once you leave the site, like in a real hall of fame. Their profiles will be displayed kept in a glass case for viewing.

Each year, at the anniversary of the creation of this forum, we should have a list of nominees. I think you should discuss this with YCMaker, and have a list by the end of the day. Here's my list:

-SuperSanji

-Steven

-Liglis

-Abaddon

-Ultamajk

-One Love = Yugioh

-LOL

A poll could be made, and the nominees voted on. After a decided amount of days, we would have our first member of the card maker hall of fame!!!1
