Arc-Angel Archetype

Recommended Posts

The Arc-Angels are DARK / Fairy monsters.

  • Arc-Angel of Eyes
  • Level 4 / DARK
  • Fairy / Flip
  • FLIP: Destroy 1 Monster and Spell / Trap on each players side of the field
  • 1200 / 1650

I tried to base a Arc-Angel on Morphing Jar

  • Arc-Angel of Cruel Passion
  • Level 4 / DARK
  • Fairy / Effect
  • While this card is on the field: All "Arc-Angel" cards except "Arc-Angel of Cruel Passion" cannot be targeted for card effects
  • 1500 / 950

What? Most Archetypes have one.

  • Arc-Angel of Dark Magic
  • Level 5 / DARK
  • Fairy / Effect
  • (This card is always treated as a Spellcaster Type)
  • If "Dark Magician Girl" is on the field: This card gains 500 ATK and DEF
  • (This card is always treated as a "Dark Magician")
  • 1700 / 1875

I didn't know what i was doing

  • Anarch Arc-Angel of Punishment
  • Level 5 / DARK
  • Fairy / Gemini
  • This card is always treated as a normal monster, except in the battle phase.
  • When this card is a effect monster: All monsters destroyed by this card are banished.
  • 2000 / 1690

Part of the Anarch Arc-Angel sub-archetype.

  • Anarch Arc-Angel of The Dragons
  • Level 5 / DARK
  • Fairy / Effect
  • (This card is always treated as a Dragon Type)
  • This card gains 300 ATK for every Dragon type monster banished
  • Once per turn: Banish 1 Dragon type monster (From your Hand, Field or GY)
  • 1825 / 2000

Anyone can collaborate with me to expand the Archetype.

What you need is NOT collaboration

Especially if that "collaboration" is random people making cards based on your cards thats not properly reviewed. When that happen you dont learn to make better cards and the collaborators will make even worse cards

Sometimes, genuine care can be harsh

Now, on the the actual archetype. This is barely an archetype, the cards is just random effect that dont work together for a certain goal. At minimum, Archetype must have either same gimmick effect (example: almost all Lightsworn monster have effect that dumping cards in the player deck to GY or combo when it sent from deck to GY) OR its a various toolbox effect held together (more like combo together) by interacting with other card by mentioning its group name in that effect (example: salamangreat at first glance having "random" effect, but in reality all those effect connected and combo with each other salamangreat) Sadly i dont see it here.

Eyes is Worse Ryko

Cruel Passion is too weak for what its intended to do

You even admit that you dont really know what you doing with Dark Magic. But ill be blunt and say you dont really have direction on all the cards either

Punishment is worse DMOC that dont really deserve its Gemini tag  since thats not how gemini works

The dragon one is equally random as Dark Magic. Your card so far is fairy without indication of possible dragon member. Also its a worse version of Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon. Which is already a bad irl card

In Short: you need critique and direction not cheerleaders via other "collaborator"

Jester Relinquished - Arc-Angel of Backseat Mimicry

Level 3/Dark

Fairy

Place this card in the Spell/Trap Card Zone or whatever Zone replaces that when Summoning.  Treat that as part of the Monster Zone on your side/collective slots of the field instead while this is face up.  You can select the effect of one face-up "Arc-Angel" Monster on the field;you can apply that effect to this card by paying 500 LP.  If an effect tries to make a Monster have higher ATK or DEF than this card (where before it was lower), negate that effect and both you and your opponent draw 1 card and show them and if either is an "Arc-Angel" Monster, the ATK of this Monster increases by 400.

ATK 800/ DEF 800

Collaboration

1. The action of working with someone to produce or create something.

By definition, offering criticism and direction is collaboration. You are working with somebody to create something. While you are not directly responsible for the creation, you played a small role in it.

Kiniko's concept of Archangels is a good one but pretty much already exists in the form of Archlords. Also, why make them DARK Fairy monsters? Generally any angel based card created is fairy by default.

Also, Kiniko, if you ever wanna collaborate on a project, just message me and shoot some ideas.

You forgot to say it was a Effect monster. Fairy should be Fairy / Effect
