CardSharpDoppel
I love gimmicky gamble cards in Yugioh, but right now, there aren't enough gamble cards, nor do their gamble effects pay off for the risk you make. Right now, I am working on an archetype specifically geared toward coin tossing and dice rolling, but here are some generic staple concepts I have came up with that can work well with both. The artwork is shoddy, but I do want to get some concepts out there because Gamble cards need support! Please tell me what you think of the ideas. DUAL-SUPPORT (3) These cards can work well with both coin tossing and die rolling decks: Card Counter - Searcher for Second Coin Toss Cards(s) (See below) and functions as a fall back for failed coin tosses / dice rolls Roulette Merchant - Basic Searcher for gamble card Bargaining - Multiple Monster Summoning Cost : 1000 LP Coin Toss Support (4) The Coin Toss Support I have are: Summoning Coin - Great recovery / Summoning card Cost : 1000 LP Lucky Golden Coin - Basic coin toss spell / trap searching and offers a fallback on coin tosses Cost : 1000 LP Reckless Second Coin Toss - Higher risk / higher rewards alternative to Second Coin Toss. Pay 500 LP to re-preform coin tosses, can be sacrificed to activate coin toss abilities twice per turn Up The Ante - Great beat down card - Declare heads or tails, then lock into a coin toss battle with your opponent; winner looks at their opponents hand and discards 2 cards from their hand Dice Support (4) The dice support cards I have are: Second Dice Roll - Functions as a Second Coin Toss, but for dice. Can be used on your opponent as well Lucky Platinum Dice - Searches die rolling spell / traps. Can be banished from the graveyard to change the result on all dice during a roll. Cost : 1000 LP Leveling Dice - Great level manipulation. Roll 2 dice and add the results, you then can increase the levels of all monsters up to the sum results. Cost: 1000 LP All-In! - Both players roll 2 dice and add the results, the loser banishes the top cards of their deck face down Cost: 2000 LP That's all I have, please tell me what you think of it! morrisoni4
I love this! In fact, I think these would work perfectly with a new casino archetype I was about to post. I call it "Bets Off", and it uses a lot of dice.
