Pommelo
Damn, I really need this collection to hit TCG. Again, which version do you prefer?
~British Soul~
Two guys at my locals said to me that they prefer the OG art of DMG the Dragon Knight because they weren't into the thighs that are on show here. As for Tour Guide, my immediate thoughts were. "Is Tour Guide taking them to the hottest fiend clubs on the scene?"

The thighs that are on show here are possibly the reason I like this version more, to be honest. I'd say both are more or less equal in terms of art quality, but I like more the dynamic of the newer. Tour Guide is cute n' lively as ever, but I'm not sure I like the demons behind, although the Sangan with the "trinoculars" saves the damn picture, hands down. Tinkerer
Aesthetics of the artwork aside, can we all agree that it must suck to be DMG there? Like, there's no saddle on Timaeus or anything; the scales would be a total pain. Literally.

I can see why people would not like the fiends behind Tour Guide, thinking they want a bit of her. The pink one on the right certainly does. As for DMG, both are showing power poses, but I'd say I prefer the old art as well.

Did you know that brooms from Harry Potter come with a cushion enchantment integrated? She might be able to do the same. 3 hours ago, ~British Soul~ said: I can see why people would not like the fiends behind Tour Guide, thinking they want a bit of her. Funny that you mention the pink demon, but I think exactly the contrary, I think that guy might swing the other way, but who knows. I'd be more worried about the fatty orc, tbh. I insist that the Orc is just having an aperitif, waiting for a chance to have a much more delicious snack. Pink demon reminds me of Muscle Medic. But could it be that the most dangerous one is the red thing in the back? I don't even know who the hell it is, but look carefully at its lips... that thing wants a kiss. A) Tbph, I don't see any evidence of an aperitif being consumed by Giant Orc B) Congratulations on making me having to google aperitif

So, if they have some alcohol there + snacks =

You're right, it's true that the term is mostly used to describe an alcoholic drink that is served in order to whet your appetite, but sometimes the term extends to the snack that goes along the drink, such as peanuts, bread, olives, etc. I must say, right now I'm laughing, thinking how in blazes did we end up discussing about the definition of a french word, though. Snack =/= meal, but that's neither here nor there. I still hadn't heard of the term until this evening. In all fairness, I was only voicing my thoughts about the art, so I have no idea how it ended up as a discussion about definitions, but hey I've seen far more derailed threads on this forum. I won't deny your point of view, but I'll remind you that we're from different countries and the meaning of certain words vary from place to place, they're adapted, so to speak. Either way, I don't mind when this happens, though, as I enjoy having a small debate/conversation/chat with people I don't know much about. Not everything in the world is freaking Yu-Gi-Oh!, haha. Of course not. Not everything needs to be yugioh related. Heck last week at locals, me and my friends spent an hour discussing the Monty Hall problem

The other day a discussion about the lost identity of a banished face-down card somehow derived into a debate about Schrödinger's cat

vla1ne
is it even possible to ride something like a dragon in a skirt, without at least wearing spats? i can't imagine that would be a comfortable battle for timaeus or DMG. I do appreciate the thighs, but tour guide wins it, as the art as a whole is absolutely adorable.

About Tour Guide's, what I like the most is that it's one of those artworks that represent that particular sense of humour of Yu-Gi-Oh! that other Card Games lack, a very colorful image that's likeable because you see an all-time favourite character of the fanbase having a good time in her everyday job along with other old monsters. The idea of a monster not only being a card but also has a life, it's relationships and stuff.

Considering the colors used, they would likely be black if she were wearing them (as they probably will be when the tcg gets a hold of it). On top of that, timaeus has pretty pointy looking spikes, all along his back. that cannot be a fun ride. but yeah, tour guide having a life (along with sangan being adorkable) is just too wholesome. Haha! Yeah, I agree Sangan and his Trinoculars was the key to increase this card's score. I wonder if they'll make an alternate Tour Bus, though. Horu
Wait..... Timaeus has spikes going down his back and they are rather close together..... might explain DMG's expression in the art. I'm not saying more than that. But Timaeus sure seems happy.
