meatsheild41
At least narrative-wise. Support-wise, the focus is still on "Buster Blader" slaying your opponent's dragons and keeping them shut down. The theory for this support was to give the deck a bit more in-theme explosive and recovery options, as I felt (having faithfully played the deck upon release) it was severely lacking, and sprinkled a little in-theme protection. Of course, let me know what you think. Buster Girl, the Destruction Sword Apprentice Earth Level 7 Warrior/Effect This card’s name is treated as “Buster Blader” while on the field or in the GY. If you control no monsters, or if the only monsters you control are face up “Destruction Sword” cards, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only Special Summon “Buster Girl, the Destruction Sword Apprentice” once per turn this way. If this card is Summoned, you can add 1 “Destruction Sword” monster from your GY to your hand. You can only use this effect of “Buster Girl, the Destruction Sword Apprentice” once per turn. ATK/2400 DEF/2100 Hero Buster Destruction Sword Light Level 1 Dragon/Tuner/Effect You can only control 1 “Hero Buster Destruction Sword.” If “Buster Blader” is Normal/Special Summoned to your field, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If this card is in your GY (Quick Effect), you can target 1 “Buster Blader” monster or Dragon Synchro monster you control; equip this card to the target, but banish this card when it leaves the field. While equipped to a monster, once per turn that monster cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. You can only use 1 effect of “Hero Buster Destruction Sword” per turn, and only once that turn. ATK/ 1100 DEF/ 0 The Destruction Swordsman’s Passing Spell If you control no Fusion monsters, Fusion Summon 1 “Buster Blader” Fusion monster from your Extra Deck by sending monsters you control or in your hand to the GY, and/or by banishing monsters in your GY. If you control no monsters when this effect resolves, all monsters your opponent controls also become Dragon monsters until the end of the turn. If this card is in your GY: you can banish this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; until the end of the turn, the target becomes a Dragon monster, also its ATK and DEF are halved. You can only use 1 effect of “The Destruction Swordsman’s Passing” per turn, and only once that turn. Buster Blader, the New Dragon Destroyer Light Level 8 Warrior/Fusion/Effect 1 “Buster Blader” or “Destruction Sword” Warrior monster + 1 Dragon monster You can only control 1 “Buster Blader, the New Dragon Destroyer.” Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Summoned by other ways. You can only Fusion Summon “Buster Blader, the New Dragon Destroyer” once per turn. Negate the effects of all Dragon monsters in your opponent’s possession. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. Once per turn, if this attacking card battles an opponent’s monster, you can have that monster not be destroyed by that battle, and if you do, make its ATK and DEF 0.
