Neg reps

Recommended Posts

ok, i think that if someone gets a certain ammount of neg reps or something, they should be automatically banned

this kinda goes along with what happened this morning, since if someone really needs to be banned, and there r no online super mods, they would be automatically banned once they got a certain number of neg reps

anyone else think this is a good idea?

Bad idea.. Ds Duelist (an example) could have created 5 accounts and neg some guy and he would have got banned.. we need something like a spam filter.. one forum i was.. you needed to wait 5 minutes before to post again.. or simply something that dosn't lets no one to double post.. -_-.. and that noobs.. its easy.. we need good super mods like Dj Osiris.. (maybe new super mod)

Bad idea because if some guy comes on and is a good member and then when he gets the amount of posts BAM!He negs the hell out of some one and then we are banned for no reason.

And good job on being a Super Mod DJ(Well you already were but know you can moderate everything)

Good point, but it's bad to have normal members control who are banned.

Especially when multiple accounts are possible, because one single member could ban another by using multiple accounts.

However, I think that members should be 'disabled' when they hit too many neg reps. When a member is disabled, he cannot use any tags, use a signature, use an avatar, double post or post/search too much in a given time.

This way, he is still not banned, and can still post on the forums (which are now sure to be harmless).

If the reps were for bad reasons, like the reps DS Dueler dealt, then a mod can remove those reps later to make him undisabled, and mods should be able to disable other members instantly.

I hope you find this a good idea, as those are needed to solve the problems on this forum.
