avariademon
simple thought spell cronicles + gren maju da eiza/ golden homunculus. (probably spelled that wrong) now this isnt a meta breaking combo and im not even sure if it is worth while/smart but it could be interesting. Plus: ~ thats +2000 atk and def to gren maju and +1500 to Goldem~ later on if its still there you can get free spells/traps back~ activating two at one time is twice the removed cards~ with macro on the feild suddenly the cards that were in your hand are RFG as well. minus: ~ gets rid of your hand~ could cost life points if spell cronicles is destroyed. this will never see serious tournament play (i think) and heck people will probably ignore it any how but still its an interesting thought and it would be kinda like painful choice in a deck with chaos necromancer. Exiro
At least you understand that this won't see play in tournaments or sommething in that way. I respect that, so I'll point out why this combo is bad.Oh, btw, it's Spell Chronicle. This Strategy is about getting a monster stronger, while it doesn't grant you an OTK. Gren Maju has no protection, so there is a high chance that you will fall for something like Sakuretsu Armor or Dimensional Prison.Spell Chronicle discards your hand to the graveyard. This is a huge disatvantage, which you can avoid. It doesn't say how many cards it needs, just your hand. That must be at least 1 card, so if you bring your hand to the field except 1 card, the cost is just 1 card in your hand. However, bringing your hand to the field is overextending, which is just a step away from disatvantage. Let's say that you've set 4 spells/traps, summoned Gren Maju and then activated Spell Chronicle (First turn). In my turn I can use Heavy Storm to get rid of 5 cards, while it costed me 1 card (1:5 so that's a +4). You still have a strong monster on the field, but as stated above, Sakuretsu will do it. You can say that it is already decided that you have lost this duel, because of the disatvantage you're in.After activating Spell Chronicle, you will be missing a lot of s/t in your deck. You will most likely draw too many monsters, which I can take out 1 by 1 if you won't draw s/t.There is a high chance that you will get no more than 1 of the cards removed by Spell Chronicle before it is destroyed. You might think that it payed itself back when you get 1 card back, but remember that you must have discarded at least 1 card to activate it. So it payed itself back when you get 2 cards, which requires your opponent to activate 4 cards before the s/t removal, and can only get them in your own turn. I hope it is clear now that this Strategy fails.Nice attempt, though.
avariademon
it would be stupid to attempt to complette this stratagy first turn, heck 3rd turn. you didnt diswade me from trying this out, you just added to the cons. this will most likely see my casual macro deck for fun, i realise the down side but i think i wish to at least test it out before i go assuming. CrabHelmet
This actually works; therefore, it is already better than 50% of the combos posted on this board. Sadly, as Exiro explained, it really isn't very good.

avariademon
better combo. Heavy Storm (clear backfield)Activate Dimensional Fissure/MacroActivate Future Fusion W/ ChimeratechSummon Gren Maju.win. point one, it would have to be fissure, point two i would have to run nothing but machines save gren maju, point three i would have to get cyber dragons for this deck and honestly its not going to be good enough for me to spend THAT much money on it, point four, you wouldent be able to activate macro, point five, your not taking the monsters into consideration. im not saying my combo is better im just saying at the moment my combo fits my purpose better then that. thats not a bad combo though, i thought about the same thing with chaos necromancer insted, in fact you could probably make an otk, with necromancer, future, heavy and camoflauge armor. BUT that would require you to have 27 monsters in the grave to be an otk.
