Enigma Zero
I've been noticing things here and there on the forums and since the new rules say you must credit the artists when you make cards I now have a question. How much of the artwork of a card must you have actually done yourself to claim credit for the artwork? From a multilayer aspect I only put my signature and claim a piece of artwork as my own is I actually created it. At the most, since I'm predominantly a sprite artist, I might use a few "Frank" bits here and there but I usually redraw and recolour them well beyond the original bit I sample(maybe an eye here and a hand there). I've seen some credited art with is nothing more than the arrangement of someone else's artwork and maybe some opacity tricks so that's why I'm asking. Guess I'm just trying to get a more carved in stone definition for knowledge sake and to avoid any forum potential forum problems in the future for myself or others. If you actually took the time to read all of that then thanks. If you also took the time to make a useful reply then thanks alot. ;)
RiffMaster Alex
You must credit the original artist unless you erase the whole pic and start again. :/
